Zagreb Gym Day Passes: Where to Train, Prices and Tips for Tourists

By Daily Sweat10 min read

Zagreb is a good city for a one-off workout if you know where to go: THE Fitness runs ten of the listed clubs and sells a day ticket at all of them, a central independent charges €10, and the spa clubs ask €25 to €30.

Quick answer

Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Zagreb: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 18 Zagreb gyms with one, and the 11 with a known price charge from €5 to €30, with €15 the typical price. All 18 sell it at the front desk, and none online. The catch: the two cheapest prices are old — €5 at DSR Omega dates from 2023 and €8 at Ultragym from 2024 — so the safe floor today is €10, at Forma Fitness Center or THE Fitness Zavrtnica.

Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, how buying works, and what to do if you are staying a week. For every listing, see all Zagreb gyms with a day pass or the map. Travelling on through Central Europe? See the Vienna guide and the Budapest guide.

Eight Zagreb gyms worth the trip

From €5 at an old-school independent to €30 for a spa day, with two cheap independents, a central gym at €10, four THE Fitness clubs and World Class’s spa club. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.

1. DSR Omega — €5 cash, on 2023 evidence

  1. DSR OmegaUl. Pavla Šubića 55, Zagreb5.00 EUR day passChecked Aug 2023€5 cash for a day at an old-school gym on Ulica Pavla Šubića, last confirmed by a traveller in August 2023.

DSR Omega, at Ulica Pavla Šubića 55, charged a traveller in August 2023 €5 for a day pass, paid in cash — “If you are looking for something fancy, this probably isn’t your place”, the visitor wrote, describing machines, free weights, a cross fit section and a boxing area. It is the only cash-only listing in Zagreb. Hours are 9am–10pm Monday to Saturday; it is closed on Sundays. The same visitor arrived in the morning to find a private session for a youth basketball team and had to come back between 17:00 and 22:00.

Before you go: carry cash, phone ahead (098 906 2030) and expect the price to have moved since 2023.

2. Ultragym Zagreb — €8 a day, and a week pass in 2024

  1. Ultragym ZagrebDrinska ul. 8b, Zagreb8.00 EUR day passChecked Dec 2024€8 a day on Drinska ulica in 2024, when a visiting couple took a week pass for €15; evenings only on weekdays.

Ultragym Zagreb, at Drinska ulica 8b, quoted day passes at €8 in July 2024, and in December 2024 a couple staying for a week found “8€ for the day, but we took a week pass for 15€”. They describe a big space, clean showers and locker keys provided. It opens only 5pm–10pm on weekdays and 9am–1pm on Saturday, and is closed on Sundays (official site).

Before you go: bring a towel and a clean pair of trainers to change into — “You have to bring your own towels if you want to shower”, the December 2024 visitors wrote.

3. Forma Fitness Center — €10 in the city centre

  1. Forma Fitness CenterHebrangova ul. 21, Zagreb10.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€10 a day on Hebrangova ulica, confirmed in February 2026; a 2024 visitor paid €25 for three days.

Forma Fitness Center, at Hebrangova ulica 21, is the most central of the cheap picks, 0.5 km from the centre of the Zagreb map. A February 2026 visitor wrote “Day pass was 10 euros” and found it big enough that busy spells aren’t usually a problem; 2024 visitors paid the same, and one noted that “If you buy 3 days, there is a discount of 5€. So 25€ for 3 days.” Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 4pm–8pm at weekends (price list).

Before you go: at weekends it opens only from 4pm to 8pm.

4. THE Fitness Zavrtnica — €10 at a big club with squash courts

  1. THE Fitness ZavrtnicaTHE FitnessZavrtnica 17, Zagreb10.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€10 day ticket on THE Fitness’s own price list, at a 1,600 m² club with squash courts, open until 10pm every day.

THE Fitness Zavrtnica, at Zavrtnica 17 east of the centre, sells a €10 dnevna karta (day ticket) on the chain’s own price list: one day at one club, with the sauna and wellness zone where the club has one. The club page describes 1,600 m², more than 100 machines and four squash courts, with parking at €1 per visit (up to five hours). Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 7am–10pm at weekends (club page). It rates 4.6 on Google, but a January 2026 member complained that not all showers had been working for weeks.

Before you go: bring a towel; the club page lists towels as your own or from €2.

5. THE Fitness Branimir — €15 for visitors in the centre

  1. THE Fitness BranimirTHE FitnessUl. kneza Branimira 29, Zagreb15.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€15 a day on Ulica kneza Branimira, where a May 2026 tourist found the staff friendly and the racks plentiful.

THE Fitness Branimir, at Ulica kneza Branimira 29, 0.6 km from the centre of the map, charged a tourist €15 for a day pass in May 2026. The visitor found it slightly pricey but worth it, as “it is one of few that have single day passes in the city”, with a good number of squat and deadlift racks and staff happy to show visitors round. A July 2026 member is less kind, reporting broken machines and too few plates; a 2023 visitor liked the parking under the gym. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 9am–9pm at weekends (official site).

Before you go: bring a padlock — the July 2026 review says many men’s lockers are broken or taken.

6. THE Fitness Zonar — €15 with a sauna, west of the centre

  1. The Fitness ZonarTHE FitnessTrg Krešimira Ćosića 9, Zagreb15.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€15 day ticket with sauna and wellness at a 380 m² club on Trg Krešimira Ćosića, open until 10pm on weekdays.

THE Fitness Zonar, at Trg Krešimira Ćosića 9, lists a €15 day ticket with the sauna and wellness zone on THE Fitness’s own price list, and an August 2024 visitor confirms the price. A July 2024 review lists power racks, neatly sorted plates and a sauna. It is a smaller club, about 380 m² according to its page. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 9am–9pm at weekends (club page).

Before you go: staying a few days? The August 2024 visitor found “they don’t offer week pass”, and reckoned four days cost as much as a month.

7. World Class Westin — €25 for gym and full wellness

  1. WorldclassWorld ClassUl. Isidora Kršnjavoga 1, Zagreb25.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€25 for a day with unlimited fitness and full wellness at the Westin, from World Class’s own site.

World Class, at Ulica Isidora Kršnjavoga 1, sells a €25 dnevna karta on its own site: one day of unlimited fitness and full wellness, with no contract. A March 2025 visitor called it “Amazing gym, wellness and pools!” and found the price low for what you get. Hours are 6am–10:30pm on weekdays and 8am–10pm at weekends (official site). Its sister club, WorldClass Sheraton in the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel on Ulica kneza Borne, charges €30 for the same kind of day and opens 7am–10pm on weekdays and 8am–10pm at weekends.

Before you go: the Westin is €5 cheaper than the Sheraton, and both prices include the wellness area.

8. THE Fitness HoB — €30 for the gym and spa

  1. THE Fitness HoBTHE FitnessUl. Josipa Marohnića 1, Zagreb30.00 EUR day passSaunaChecked Sep 2026€30 for a single visit with the spa area on Ulica Josipa Marohnića, the only Zagreb listing with a sauna on record.

THE Fitness HoB, at Ulica Josipa Marohnića 1 south of the centre, charged visitors in March and June 2026 €30 for a single visit including the spa area. It is the only Zagreb listing with a sauna on record, and a February 2025 member adds that “there is a swimming pool and sauna”. Both 2026 visitors left disappointed: the June one found “Dirty loungers and broken equipment in the spa area”. A July 2025 reviewer says it is “insanely hard to find”: go into the building with the coffee shop, keep right and take the lift to the third floor. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 9am–9pm at weekends (official site).

Before you go: bring a towel, shower shoes, toiletries and a lock, and ask at the desk whether everything in the spa is working before you pay.

Where to train, by neighbourhood

All 18 listings are in the city of Zagreb itself. Most sit within 2 km of the centre, and two THE Fitness clubs in the west are 5.5 km and 6.9 km out, so check the journey before choosing on price. The Zagreb gym map shows every listing by location.

Daily Sweat records a sauna at only 1 of the 18 Zagreb listings (HoB) and showers at none yet — a blank means unconfirmed, not missing. Reviews describe saunas at Zonar and in the locker rooms at Green Gold, and showers at Ultragym and Kaptol.

How much does a gym day pass cost in Zagreb?

A gym day pass in Zagreb costs €5 to €30, typically €15, as of October 2026. Of the 18 gyms listed, 11 have a known price, and the cheapest two come from reviews written in 2023 and 2024.

  • €5–€8, on old evidence: DSR Omega (€5 cash, August 2023) and Ultragym Zagreb (€8, December 2024).
  • €10: Forma Fitness Center (February 2026) and THE Fitness Zavrtnica (the chain’s own price list).
  • €14–€15, the typical range: Gyms4you Kvaternik Plaza (€14, August 2023), and THE Fitness Branimir, Dvorana and Zonar (€15).
  • €25–€30, with a spa: World Class Westin (€25), WorldClass Sheraton and THE Fitness HoB (€30).

Price follows two things. THE Fitness charges €10 or €15 depending on the club for its standard one-club day ticket (HoB’s spa visit is €30), and five of its ten listings have no captured price yet: Borovje, Črnomerec, Green Gold, Kaptol and Z Centar. Reviews give clues — a November 2023 visitor wrote “The price for one day is 15 euros” at Kaptol, and an October 2024 visitor paid €12 at Z Centar. The spa clubs then add the pool or sauna to the bill: World Class and HoB charge €25 to €30 a day.

Beta fitness and XXL Fitness Kvatrić sell day passes but have no price in euros on record: their last quoted prices were in kuna, from before Croatia adopted the euro, and an August 2024 reviewer at XXL wrote only “Option for day passes with fair prices available as well”. Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked.

Buying a pass: what to know

Pay at reception, and carry cash for DSR Omega

All 18 listed gyms sell the pass at the front desk, and none sells it online. Only DSR Omega is cash only. THE Fitness and World Class both publish their dnevna karta on their own price lists, so you can check the price before you go; at the independents, ask before you pay. No Zagreb listing records a free trial; World Class advertises a probni trening (trial workout) on its site, but that is not a day pass.

Check the hours, not just the price

Opening times vary a lot. Ultragym opens only from 5pm on weekdays, Forma only from 4pm to 8pm at weekends, and DSR Omega and Ultragym close on Sundays. XXL Fitness Kvatrić opens 7am–11pm on weekdays but only from 3pm on Sundays.

What the pass leaves out

No Zagreb listing records a towel or indoor-shoe rule yet, but bring both. THE Fitness’s club pages list towels as your own or from €2; Ultragym’s visitors were told to bring a towel to shower and a clean pair of trainers for the gym floor; and a July 2025 HoB reviewer advises shower gel, shower shoes, a towel and a lock. Lockers are the other trap: at Gyms4you Kvaternik Plaza an August 2023 visitor had money stolen from an unlocked locker, as members bring their own key or buy one from a vending machine, and a May 2026 review of Z Centar found the lockers without keys. Pack a padlock.

One message settles most of it

Hello, I’m visiting Zagreb and would like to train on [date]. Do you sell a day ticket (dnevna karta) to visitors, how much is it, and can I pay by card? Do I need my own towel or padlock?

Day pass or weekly pass?

No Zagreb listing has a weekly price on record as of October 2026, but a few multi-day options turn up in reviews and on the gyms’ own sites:

  • Ultragym Zagreb: a couple paid €15 for a week pass against €8 a day in December 2024 — cheaper than two day passes, if it is still sold.
  • Forma Fitness Center: €25 for 3 days against €10 a day (October 2024), and its price list offers a month for €45 with no contract and no joining fee — less than five day passes.
  • World Class: its site sells a 10-day Zagreb Pass covering both the Westin and Sheraton clubs, priced on its members’ site at less than two €25 day tickets — worth it from your second visit.
  • THE Fitness: the August 2024 visitor at Zonar found no week pass and reckoned that four €15 days cost as much as a month.

Ask whether a package means consecutive calendar days or a fixed number of entries, and when it expires. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.

Chains, spas and hotel gyms

Twelve of the 18 Zagreb listings belong to a chain, and one is a hotel gym:

  • THE Fitness, with 10 listings: a one-club dnevna karta at €10 or €15, with the sauna and wellness zone where the club has one, and €30 for HoB’s spa. Its clubs open 6am–10pm on weekdays.
  • World Class: the Westin club (€25) is a chain listing, and WorldClass Sheraton (€30), inside the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel, is Zagreb’s one hotel gym with a day pass. Both include full wellness.
  • Gyms4you, with one day-pass listing: Kvaternik Plaza on Maksimirska cesta, the only Zagreb listing open 24 hours, where an August 2023 visitor paid €14 for one workout. Its 14 other Zagreb clubs on the map have no day pass on record, so ask at the desk.

For a swim, no Zagreb listing records a pool yet, but reviews describe one at THE Fitness HoB (February and July 2025) and pools at World Class (March 2025). The HealthClub at Esplanade Zagreb, a hotel health club, has no confirmed pass; ask at the desk.

Find a Zagreb gym that fits your trip

Daily Sweat keeps every Zagreb gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Zagreb gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.

Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.

Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.

Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.

The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
