These terms govern your use of Daily Sweat (“the service”), the crowd-sourced gym day-pass directory at dailysweat.co. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
Who can use Daily Sweat
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and are responsible for activity under your account.
What the service is — and isn’t
Daily Sweat is an informational directory built from public data and community contributions. We are not a gym, a reseller, or a party to any visit or purchase you make. Day-pass prices, availability, opening hours, and other details are supplied by the community and by third parties, and may be out of date or incorrect. Always confirm the current details with the gym before you travel or pay.
Your contributions
When you submit a gym, an edit, a report, a check-in, or other content, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You grant Daily Sweat a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, store, reproduce, publish, and display that content as part of the directory and to promote the service.
Contributions are subject to moderation. We may review, edit, reject, or remove any submission, and content stays pending until an admin approves it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading, spam, or promotional listings;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe anyone’s rights;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the catalog, or place unreasonable load on our systems, or circumvent rate limits or security measures;
- attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Intellectual property
The Daily Sweat name, logo, and the design and compilation of the directory belong to us. These terms don’t transfer any of our intellectual property to you, and your licence to your own contributions is described above.
Third-party services
The service uses third parties such as Google Maps and Places. Your use of Google Maps features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. Any day pass you buy or visit you make is a transaction between you and the gym, on the gym’s own terms.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that any listing, price, or gym detail is correct or current.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Sweat will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on directory information or your dealings with any gym. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Daily Sweat against claims and costs arising from your contributions or your breach of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service and its users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction — e.g. Jersey / England & Wales], and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of the service means you accept the revised terms.
