Singapore is an easy city to keep training in: public ActiveSG gyms charge visitors a few dollars, a dozen private gyms sell a day or a week, and 36 Anytime Fitness clubs cover the island — though that last option comes with a catch.
Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Singapore: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 59 Singapore gyms with one, and the 13 with a known price charge from S$3.30 to S$38, with S$20 the typical price. All 59 sell it at the front desk. The catch: 36 of the 59 are Anytime Fitness clubs, which set their own visitor fee and publish none — one desk quoted S$30 in June 2026 — and ActiveSG’s S$3.30 is the visitor rate; citizens and PRs pay S$2.50.
Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then areas, prices, buying and week passes. For every listing, see all Singapore gyms with a day pass or the map. Crossing into Malaysia? Daily Sweat lists 25 gyms in Johor Bahru, 25 km away, and there is a Kuala Lumpur guide.
Eight Singapore gyms worth the trip
From S$3.30 at a public gym in Jalan Besar to S$38 at a True Fitness club in Novena, plus three week passes and a strength gym that serious lifters cross the city for. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.
1. ActiveSG Gym @ Jalan Besar — S$3.30 at a public gym
ActiveSG Gym @ Jalan Besar, on Level 2 at 100 Tyrwhitt Road, is listed at S$3.30 for a single visit with no time limit within opening hours — the standard rate on ActiveSG’s own rates page (October 2026); Singapore citizens and PRs pay S$2.50. A July 2025 traveller paid S$3.30 at the swimming-pool or gym entrance: “Great affordable gym if one is traveling”. A February 2026 visitor wrote that foreigners pay $3.50, so expect a little over three dollars. Hours are 7am–10pm every day (facility page). The same S$3.30 standard rate applies at Delta ActiveSG Gym on Tiong Bahru Road, a big, renovated gym with shower cubicles that a February 2026 visitor found crowded 8–10am, from 5pm and at weekends.
2. Homeground Gym — S$20 a session in Farrer Park, 24 hours
Homeground Gym, at 146 Owen Road, lets visitors drop in for a S$20 trial session, or take a 3-day trial for the same S$20, according to its own site (October 2026), and it is open 24 hours. “Small gym but I love it with suitable price and a free milkshake”, a reviewer wrote in May 2026 (official site).
3. Unstoppable Fitness — S$25 a day or S$60 a week on Shenton Way
Unstoppable Fitness, at #03-06a Shenton House, 3 Shenton Way, sells a S$25 single-entry day pass and a S$60 one-week pass on its own site (October 2026); staff then contact you to register. A July 2026 reviewer found it “More bodybuilding focused compared to commercial gyms and yet the price is cheaper as well”, and a June 2026 review mentions day passes too. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 6am–7pm at weekends (official site).
4. GOfit Zion Road — S$28 a day, S$100 for a tourist week
GOfit, at 56A Zion Road, sells a S$28 single-day pass, valid during staffed hours, and a one-week tourist plan at S$100 with 24/7 access, according to its own site (October 2026). Reviewers in February 2023 called it a “Fully equipped 24/7 gym just opposite Great World MRT” (official site). Two other GOfit-branded listings take visitors: GoFit City Hall on Beach Road sells a 1-Time Visit Pass online, and GoFit-X Geylang a visitor pass; neither shows the price.
5. Horizon Wellness Club — S$30, booked online, in the CBD
Horizon Wellness Club, on Level 2 at 5 Kadayanallur Street (KADA), sells a S$30 day pass with no membership, plus 3-day (S$60) and 7-day (S$90) passes, booked and paid online before you come (own site, October 2026). The listing records showers, and a July 2026 reviewer liked that “the space does not feel crowded”. Hours are 7am–9pm on weekdays and 9am–1pm at weekends (official site).
6. Strength Masters Gym Tai Seng — S$35 for serious lifters
Strength Masters Gym Tai Seng, at #01-15 Tai Seng Centre on Irving Road, sells a S$35 single-use visit pass, paid by PayNow or cash, and a 7-visit pass at S$200 valid for two weeks (own price list, October 2026). A traveller in January 2026 bought a day pass over WhatsApp in the middle of the night, sent a photo of their face for camera access and was told to use Tai Seng because deadlifting isn’t allowed at the other branch: “For just $35 SGD, including shower access and all this equipment, it’s an excellent deal”. The gym is open 24 hours, with free weights and a power rack (official site).
7. True Fitness Novena — S$38, with a sauna
True Fitness Novena, at #03-46 Velocity, 238 Thomson Road, is the priciest listing: “The day pass is SGD 38”, a reviewer wrote in about October 2025, with free weights, cable machines, cardio gear and clean showers. The listing also records a sauna. Its website lists only memberships, from $95 a month, and a February 2026 member complained that a shower room had been out of service for months. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays, 6am–9pm on Saturday and 8am–8pm on Sunday.
8. Platinum Fitness Tanjong Pagar — S$70 for a 24-hour week
Platinum Fitness Tanjong Pagar, at B1-04 OUE Downtown Gallery, 6A Shenton Way, sells a 7-day membership for S$70 with no registration fee and 24-hour access (own site, October 2026); no single-day pass is listed. An October 2025 visitor confirmed it: “The week pass is SGD 70, which is a fair price compared to other options in the city”. The listing records free weights, a power rack and showers (club page). Platinum Fitness Tanglin sells the same S$70 week.

How much does a gym day pass cost in Singapore?
A gym day pass in Singapore costs S$3.30 to S$38, typically S$20, as of October 2026. Only 13 of the 59 gyms listed have a known price, because 36 of the 59 are Anytime Fitness clubs that don’t publish one.
- S$3.30, public gyms: the five ActiveSG gyms, all at the standard rate that visitors pay (citizens and PRs pay S$2.50).
- S$8, pay by the hour: iGym@Bishan, S$8 for the first hour then S$0.50 per extra 30 minutes, with 24-hour app check-in. An April 2026 regular reported the entrance gate out of action and barely working air-con, so check recent reviews first.
- S$20–S$30, private gyms: Homeground (S$20), Unstoppable Fitness (S$25), GOfit Zion Road (S$28), Energia Fitness Club (S$28 in an April 2025 review, so check at the desk) and Horizon Wellness Club (S$30).
- S$35–S$38: Strength Masters (S$35) and True Fitness Novena (S$38).
Anytime Fitness, the 36 unpriced clubs: the chain’s Singapore site (October 2026) says most clubs charge non-residents a drop-in fee for a short stay, set by each club, but no price is confirmed at any of the 36. The only figure on record is S$30, which staff at Suntec City quoted a non-Singaporean in June 2026. Elsewhere, Dungeon Fitness on Bendemeer Road charges by the hour, S$11.70 plus GST per person, booked in its app.
Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked.
Buying a pass: what to know
Desk, website or WhatsApp
All 59 listings sell the pass at reception, but several private gyms want you to buy first. Unstoppable Fitness and Horizon Wellness Club sell online, Construct Fitness sells its week online, and GoFit-X Geylang takes card payment online or at the desk while it is staffed (2pm–10pm on weekdays, 12pm–6pm on Saturday). Strength Masters and Platinum Fitness Robertson Quay deal with visitors over WhatsApp: a September 2025 hotel guest arranged two mornings of day passes that way.
Anytime Fitness: go while the desk is staffed
The free trial on Anytime Fitness’s site is only for people who live or work nearby; visitors pay the club’s drop-in fee, arranged with staff during staffed hours. A July 2026 review says the chain’s Singapore clubs don’t issue passes after 8pm, and City Square Mall is staffed 9am–10pm, Orchard 9am–9pm. A traveller turned away by a nearby Anytime Fitness in 2026 got a day pass instead at 24Seven on Townshend Road, which is open 24 hours and has late showers. At Alexandra Road, a July 2026 reviewer who booked online got no reply, so phone ahead.
ActiveSG: resident and visitor rates
ActiveSG’s own rates page (October 2026) lists S$3.30 for the standard rate and S$2.50 for citizens and PRs. At Jalan Besar, buy at the swimming-pool or gym entrance. At Toa Payoh West Market, a regular wrote in August 2026 that people have been turned away without a towel, cardio machines have a 30-minute limit and lockers are few.
What to pack
Horizon Wellness Club requires a towel and ActiveSG’s Toa Payoh gyms ask you to bring one. Strength Masters takes no cards — PayNow or cash only. Pack workout clothes, shoes, a towel, a water bottle and a padlock.
One message settles most of it
Hello, I’m visiting Singapore and would like to train on [date]. Do you sell a day pass to visitors, what does it cost, and until what time can I buy it? Can I pay by card, and do I need my own towel?
Day pass or weekly pass?
Six Singapore listings sell a week, from S$60 to S$100 — count your workouts before choosing:
- Unstoppable Fitness: S$25 a day or S$60 for a week, about S$8.57 a day — worth it from your third visit.
- Platinum Fitness Tanjong Pagar and Tanglin: S$70 for 7 days with 24-hour access and no registration fee; neither lists a single day. Robertson Quay sells 1-week memberships too, and a July 2026 holidaymaker trained there for a week; its price isn’t recorded.
- Construct Fitness: S$70 for 7 days of open gym, online only, with a sauna, an ice bath, showers and towels. Its hours are short: 6pm–10pm on weekdays and 10am–3pm on Saturday, closed on Sunday.
- Horizon Wellness Club: S$30 a day, S$60 for 3 days or S$90 for 7 — the 3-day pass is two days’ price, and the week pays off from your fourth visit.
- GOfit Zion Road: S$28 a day or S$100 for the one-week tourist plan — cheaper from your fourth visit, and the only way to get its 24/7 access.
- Strength Masters: not a week, but 7 visits for S$200 within two weeks against S$35 each — it pays off from your sixth visit.
Ask whether a package means consecutive calendar days or a fixed number of entries, and when it expires. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.
Chains, pools and 24-hour gyms
43 of the 59 Singapore listings belong to a chain, and each handles visitors differently:
- Anytime Fitness, 36 listings: a drop-in fee for non-residents at most clubs, set by each club and unpublished — S$30 is the one quote on record. Ask during staffed hours.
- GOfit, 3 listings: S$28 a day or S$100 a week at Zion Road; visitor passes with no shown price at City Hall and GoFit-X Geylang.
- Platinum Fitness, 3 listings: weeks rather than days, S$70 at Tanjong Pagar and Tanglin.
- True Fitness, 1 listing: Novena, S$38 in a 2025 review.
ActiveSG’s five public gyms are run by one operator but listed as independents. No day pass is on record at Singapore’s Fitness First, Virgin Active or 24/7 Fitness clubs: ask at the desk, and see our Fitness First FITPASS guide for how the chain’s class credits work.
For a swim, Daily Sweat records a pool at 3 Singapore listings: ActiveSG Gym @ Jalan Besar, Energia Fitness Club at Riverside Point and Anytime Fitness Balmoral, where a September 2025 reviewer used the Mercure hotel’s pool — “Only AF in SG with a pool”. True Fitness Novena and Construct Fitness have the only 2 saunas on record. 45 listings are open 24 hours, 35 of them Anytime Fitness clubs; for a paid late session, iGym@Bishan checks you in by app around the clock, Homeground is open 24 hours, and GOfit’s and Platinum’s weeks include 24-hour access.

Find a Singapore gym that fits your trip
Daily Sweat keeps every Singapore gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Singapore gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.
Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.
Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.
Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.
The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
