Kuala Lumpur has plenty of gyms in its malls and towers, but fewer published day-pass prices than you might expect. Several local chains do sell a day at the desk; the international ones mostly offer a free trial instead.
Tourists can use a gym in Kuala Lumpur without a membership: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 21 Kuala Lumpur gyms open to visitors, all through the front desk, but only one has a recorded day-pass price — RM30 at One Percent Fitness near TRX. PUMP Fitness, KFITNESS and Peak Fitness sell day passes too; ask the price at the desk. The catch: Anytime Fitness, with 10 KL clubs, offers a 3-day free trial rather than a paid day pass.
Below: six gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what to expect to pay, how buying works, and when a monthly plan beats paying by the day, plus how the chains differ. For every listing, see all Kuala Lumpur gyms with a day pass or the map. Heading north? See the Bangkok guide.
Six Kuala Lumpur gyms worth the trip
One gym with a confirmed RM30 pass, two local chains that sell days at the desk, a strength gym that takes pay-per-visit lifters and two premium clubs that start you on a free trial. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.
1. One Percent Fitness — RM30 near TRX
One Percent Fitness, on Level 15 of TSLAW Tower on Jalan Kamuning, by TRX, charged a visitor in August 2026 RM30 for a day pass — good value for the quality, they thought, with practically brand-new equipment, a lot of machines and a friendly crowd. The listing records showers. Hours are 7am–10pm on weekdays and 8am–9pm on Saturday.
2. PUMP Fitness Fahrenheit 88 — sauna and plunge pools in Bukit Bintang
PUMP Fitness Fahrenheit 88, on Level 3 of the Fahrenheit88 mall in Bukit Bintang, is the most central of the chain’s three KL clubs and sells day passes at the desk. The KL price isn’t recorded yet; PUMP’s Penang club charges RM35 (2026), so expect a similar rate. A steam room, sauna, plunge pools, towels and hairdryers are included, and it is open 7am–10pm every day (official site). PUMP Tun Razak is open 24 hours, and PUMP Cheras until 1am.
3. Peak Fitness SOGO — a free trial pass, then a paid day
Peak Fitness SOGO, on Level 8 of the SOGO store on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, offers a free trial pass booked on its website: it arrives by email and you show it at the desk on your first visit. For a paid day, the chain’s Penang club charged RM45 in February 2026, and a 3-day pass here was RM70 back in 2023. Good weights and cardio and friendly staff, reviewers say. Hours are 6:30am–10pm on weekdays and 10am–8pm at weekends (official site). Its sister club, Peak Fitness G Tower on Jalan Tun Razak, offers the same trial.
4. KFITNESS Setapak — a daily pass until midnight
KFITNESS Setapak, on Jalan Usahawan 6 off Jalan Genting Kelang, sold a Singaporean tourist who trained here for a few days in July 2026 a daily pass they found reasonably priced, and the chain’s official pricing page lists a Pay As You Go option; the amount isn’t recorded yet. Complete equipment, including the Real Leader series and HYROX training, and it is open 8am–midnight every day (branch page). The KFITNESS flagship is in Petaling Jaya, outside KL proper.
5. Strength Athletics KL — pay per visit at a lifting gym
Strength Athletics KL, in the Danau Business Centre in Taman Danau Desa, accepts pay-per-visit lifters: a July 2026 visitor registered with the owner on arrival and thought the fee well worth it. It suits beginners and experienced lifters alike, and the listing records free weights. Hours are 7am–11pm on weekdays and 7am–7pm at weekends.
6. Fitness First Avenue K — a Platinum club opposite KLCC
Fitness First Avenue K, on Level L2 of Avenue K on Jalan Ampang, opposite KLCC, is a Platinum-tier club with showers and a pool. Visitors start with a free trial booked online: an August 2026 visitor booked one for a HYROX class and the team called straight back to arrange it. Memberships start at RM265 a month; ask about a paid day pass if the trial doesn’t apply. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 7am–10pm at weekends (club page). See our Fitness First day-pass guide and the Fitness First chain page.
Where to train, by neighbourhood
Most KL gyms sit inside malls and office towers, so check the floor and the entrance as well as the address. The Kuala Lumpur gym map shows every listing by location.
- Bukit Bintang and Imbi: PUMP Fitness Fahrenheit 88, Anytime Fitness Bukit Bintang (24 hours, with a power rack) and BOSSfit on the 6th floor of Berjaya Times Square, a big, clean floor with a view over the city and a one-day free trial.
- KLCC and Jalan Tun Razak: Fitness First Avenue K, Peak Fitness G Tower and PUMP Tun Razak (24 hours).
- TRX: One Percent Fitness, the one KL listing with a recorded price.
- Chow Kit and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman: Peak Fitness SOGO, Anytime Fitness Sunway Putra Mall and Anytime Fitness Quill City Mall, with helpful, non-pushy staff.
- KL Sentral and Bangsar: Anytime Fitness KL Sentral, handy for the trains but with markedly weaker reviews, and Anytime Fitness Menara UOA Bangsar.
- Mont Kiara, Dutamas and Bukit Kiara: Anytime Fitness Steppes Mont Kiara, one of the best-rated Anytime clubs in KL, Anytime Fitness Publika, Anytime Fitness The Met and Anytime Fitness KLGCC.
- Further out: KFITNESS Setapak, PUMP Cheras, Strength Athletics in Taman Danau Desa, Anytime Fitness The RiverCity off Jalan Ipoh, and the KFITNESS flagship in Petaling Jaya.
Lifting seriously? Daily Sweat records a power rack at 4 KL listings (a blank means unconfirmed, not missing): Anytime Fitness Bukit Bintang and KLGCC, BOSSfit and KFITNESS Petaling Jaya. Strength Athletics is the specialist free-weights gym.
How much does a gym day pass cost in Kuala Lumpur?
Expect around RM30 to RM45 for a gym day pass in Kuala Lumpur, as of October 2026. Only one of the 21 gyms listed has a recorded price — RM30 at One Percent Fitness — so the rest of the range comes from the same chains’ clubs in Penang.
- RM30: One Percent Fitness near TRX (August 2026).
- Around RM35–RM45, by the chains’ Penang prices: PUMP Fitness’s three KL clubs (RM35 in Penang) and Peak Fitness’s two (RM45 in Penang, February 2026).
- Ask at the desk: KFITNESS (Pay As You Go) and Strength Athletics (pay per visit).
- Free trial instead: Anytime Fitness (3 days), BOSSfit (one day), Fitness First and Peak Fitness (a trial pass).
Membership prices give a sense of scale: BOSSfit starts at RM118 a month and Fitness First at RM265. Each gym’s page shows where its information came from and when it was last checked.
Buying a pass: what to know
Walk in and pay at the desk
All 21 listed gyms deal with visitors at reception, and 3 also take bookings online — Peak Fitness’s two trial passes and Fitness First’s trial. Expect to register on the spot: at Strength Athletics you sign up with the owner.
A free trial is not a visitor pass
Anytime Fitness’s official KL club pages offer a 3-Day Free Trial, but the clubs sell memberships rather than paid day passes — use the trial, or ask about a short-term option while the desk is staffed. Peak Fitness and Fitness First also start visitors on a trial, and BOSSfit offers one free day and lets tourists take a monthly pass. If you have used your trial, ask which paid option covers the rest of your stay.
What the pass includes
PUMP Fitness includes towels, hairdryers, a steam room, sauna and plunge pools at all three clubs. Elsewhere, pack workout clothes, shoes, a towel, a water bottle and a padlock. At the KFITNESS flagship in Petaling Jaya, an August 2026 visitor was given no induction and spoken to rudely by a trainer, so ask how the equipment works before you start.
One message settles most of it
Hello, I’m visiting Kuala Lumpur and would like to train on [date]. Do you sell a paid day pass to visitors, and what does it cost? Do I need to book or bring identification, and are towels and lockers included?
Day pass, trial or monthly plan?
No KL listing has a weekly price yet, so a longer stay comes down to trials and monthly plans:
- Anytime Fitness: a 3-Day Free Trial at any of its 10 KL clubs covers a long weekend.
- BOSSfit: tourists can take a monthly pass, with memberships from RM118 a month — less than four days at RM30.
- Peak Fitness: a 3-day pass was RM70 in 2023; ask whether it is still sold.
- KFITNESS: a Singaporean tourist bought daily passes here for a few days in July 2026, and the chain lists a Pay As You Go option.
Ask whether a package means consecutive calendar days or a fixed number of entries, and when it expires. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.
How the chains differ
Most KL listings belong to a chain, and each handles visitors its own way:
- Anytime Fitness, 10 clubs: 24-hour access for members at most of them, and a 3-Day Free Trial rather than a paid day pass.
- PUMP Fitness, 3 clubs: paid day passes at the desk, with a sauna at all three; Tun Razak is open 24 hours, the only round-the-clock KL listing that sells a paid day.
- Peak Fitness, 2 clubs in the city centre: a free trial pass online, then a paid day at the desk.
- KFITNESS, 2 clubs: Pay As You Go, open until midnight every day.
- Fitness First, 1 club: a Platinum club with a pool, starting with a free trial.
Daily Sweat records 24-hour opening at 10 KL listings, but nine are Anytime Fitness clubs, where visitors use the free trial. For a paid late session, PUMP Tun Razak is open 24 hours, PUMP Cheras until 1am and KFITNESS Setapak until midnight.

Find a Kuala Lumpur gym that fits your trip
Daily Sweat keeps every Kuala Lumpur gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Kuala Lumpur gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.
Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.
Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.
Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.
The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
