Milan Gym Day Passes: Where to Train, Prices and Tips for Tourists

By Daily Sweat10 min read

You’re in Milan for a trade fair, and your hotel near Milano Centrale has a treadmill and little else. You want one proper workout before aperitivo without signing up for a month.

Quick answer

Yes: as of September 2026, 33 Milan gyms on Daily Sweat sell a day pass, from €20 to €90 and typically €35 (roughly US$40 at September 2026 exchange rates). All 33 sell it at the front desk, so you can usually walk in and pay at reception. The rule that most often catches visitors out is at Anytime Fitness: its online free trial is for Milan residents only, and in August 2026 one Milan branch refused tourists outright.

Milan’s day passes come from independent gyms and five chains, led by Virgin Active with 14 clubs. This guide picks eight by price and neighbourhood and flags the rules worth checking. For the full list, see every Milan gym with a day pass, or browse the Italy page.

Prices and policies come from Daily Sweat’s listings as of September 2026. Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked — confirm before you travel, especially in peak season.

Daily Sweat listings: 20Hours Club Zecca, Solaris Fitness Center, 10XATHLETICS, The Bullet Gym, FITINN, Porta Venezia Fitness Club, Ceresio 7 Gym & Spa, and the Virgin Active chain page.

1. 20Hours Club Zecca: the cheapest day pass by the Duomo

Consider it if: you’re staying around the Duomo and price matters most.

20Hours Club Zecca, at Via Zecca Vecchia 6 near the Duomo, sells a €20 day pass at the front desk, according to reviews from 2024 and September 2025. Reviewers are split on value: the September 2025 visitor cited the state of the equipment. The 2024 review also reports no showers.

Hours are 7am–10pm Monday to Thursday, 7am–9pm on Fridays and 10am–8pm on Saturdays; it’s closed on Sundays.

Before you go: pack a towel and water, and plan to shower back at your hotel.

2. Solaris Fitness Center: a €20 session with long weekday hours

Consider it if: price matters and Via Solari suits your route.

Solaris Fitness Center, at Via Andrea Solari 14, charges €20 for a day pass at the front desk, according to a review from January 2026. The reviewer rated the price average or lower for Milan and praised the long hours.

2023 reviews describe easy drop-in registration and a small, well laid-out gym. Hours are 7am–10pm on weekdays, 9:30am–6pm on Saturdays and 9:30am–1:30pm on Sundays.

Before you go: have a back-up in mind; a 2023 visitor was turned away when the gym was full.

3. 10XATHLETICS: serious strength training near Centrale

Consider it if: you want racks and platforms for a heavy session near Milano Centrale.

10XATHLETICS, on Via Boscovich near Centrale, charged €25 for a day pass at the front desk, according to a 2025 review. The reviewer thought it a lot, but not much more than other gyms nearby.

The same review describes a serious strength gym with squat racks and deadlift platforms, plus a water fountain. Hours are 6:30am–10pm on weekdays, 8am–7pm on Saturdays and 8am–2pm on Sundays (official site).

Before you go: confirm the price at the desk, as the €25 figure is a year old.

4. The Bullet Gym: a traveller-friendly walk-in by Cordusio

Consider it if: you’re staying in the centre and want a complete gym with helpful staff.

The Bullet Gym, on Piazza Pio XI in the Duomo–Cordusio area, sold a visitor a €30 day pass at the front desk in May 2026; the reviewer called it a “perfect gym for travellers”. A June 2026 reviewer found it well equipped and welcoming to tourists.

It isn’t huge but it’s complete, reviewers say, and staff offer exercise guidance. Hours are 7:30am–8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 8am–8:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (official site).

Before you go: aim for a weekday; it’s open only 9am–2pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.

5. FITINN: long hours on Corso Sempione

Consider it if: you want to train early or late and you’re staying near Sempione.

FITINN, at Corso Sempione 65A, sells a €30 day pass at the front desk, according to a June 2026 review. It’s open 6am to midnight every day.

A January 2026 visitor used day passes over the holidays and praised the extensive equipment. In June 2026, sign-up took five minutes, though the protein machines were out of order (official club page). See our FITINN page.

Before you go: allow a few minutes to register at the desk.

6. Porta Venezia Fitness Club: good showers in a modern space

Consider it if: you want a polished gym with showers, around Porta Venezia.

Porta Venezia Fitness Club, at Via Gustavo Modena 10, charged a visitor €35 for a day pass at the front desk in November 2025, the typical price in Milan. The reviewer found it expensive but worth it for a top-quality facility.

The review also describes plenty of benches and machines, good showers and a modern, plant-filled space. Hours are 6am–11pm on weekdays and 8am–10pm at weekends (official site).

Before you go: confirm the price at the desk; the latest evidence is from November 2025.

7. Virgin Active: a full club at a published price

Consider it if: you want a full club and a price you can check before you go.

Every Virgin Active Italy club, including all 14 in Daily Sweat’s Milan listings, sells a daily paid entry at reception, priced at €30 to €60 on the official per-club price list (September 2026). Entry includes all club services (Virgin Active Italy help centre).

Diaz, by the Duomo, and the three Collection clubs open 6am–11pm on weekdays and 8am–8pm at weekends (official club page). Bocconi Sport Center lists showers, a sauna and a pool (official club page), and Corso Como a sauna. For other clubs, check opening hours on the gym’s page or our Virgin Active page. Travelling on to Rome? Our Rome gym day passes guide lists the prices there.

Before you go: ask your hotel about agreements with a nearby club; the price may differ under them.

8. Ceresio 7 Gym & Spa: a luxury gym and spa

Consider it if: you want a luxury gym-and-spa visit and the price comes second.

Ceresio 7 Gym & Spa, at Via Ceresio 7, sells a €90 day pass at the front desk, the highest price in Milan’s listings, according to a June 2026 review.

It’s a luxury gym and spa in the Dsquared2 building, with a sauna listed. Reviewers in December 2025 and April 2026 thought €90 far too much for one day. Hours are 6am–11pm on weekdays and 9am–8pm at weekends (official site).

Before you go: confirm the price at reception first; the club gives prices only in person.

How much does a gym day pass cost in Milan?

A gym day pass in Milan costs €20 to €90, typically €35, as of September 2026. That covers the 27 of 33 day-pass listings with a known price. What drives the difference:

  • The type of gym. The cheapest passes are at independent gyms: €20 at 20Hours Club Zecca and Solaris Fitness Center, and €25 at 10XATHLETICS and Gym Santomasosei in Brera. Several charge €30, including The Bullet Gym, FITINN, Factory Gym Club in Navigli and Action Fit Viale Liguria (July 2026).
  • Virgin Active’s club tier. Most clubs charge €35 or €45; the three Collection clubs charge €50 to €60.
  • Luxury. Ceresio 7 Gym & Spa’s €90 is the top of the range.

None of the 33 listings offers visitors a free trial.

How to choose the right Milan gym

Choose by neighbourhood first, then by equipment, then by total cost. For the general method, see how to find a gym day pass while travelling.

Start with your neighbourhood

Open the Milan gym map to see what’s closest to your hotel, or start with this list:

Match the equipment to your workout

Of the 33 listings, only 1 records free weights and none a power rack, but a blank doesn’t mean a gym lacks them: reviews describe squat racks and deadlift platforms at 10XATHLETICS.

For recovery, 5 listings record a sauna and 2 a pool; Virgin Active Bocconi Sport Center and 7 City Club have both. Only 2 record showers: Bocconi and Porta Venezia Fitness Club.

Compare the total cost

Your practical budget is:

Pass price + return transport + a towel and water if the gym doesn’t supply them.

A €30 pass near your hotel can beat a €20 one across town once you add the journey. If your hotel gym covers the basics, our hotel gym vs day pass guide helps you decide.

Day pass or weekly pass?

Plan on day passes: none of the 33 Milan listings sells a regular weekly pass as of September 2026. Reviews mention two longer options:

  • FIT MI, on Via Galvani near Centrale, told a visitor asking for a day pass in December 2025 that the minimum was a 5-day pass at €99.
  • 7 City Club, a member club on Via Falcone, charged a visitor €90 for a week, according to a review from around September 2024; this may have changed.

Staying longer? Ceresio 7 quoted €320 a month in June 2026. Our day, week or month guide walks through the break-even maths.

Rules that catch visitors out in Milan

None of the 33 listings is marked cash only or requires a towel or indoor shoes; the surprises are about who gets in and what’s included:

  • Anytime Fitness may not take tourists. Reviews put a drop-in at its Milan clubs at about €25, the price listed for Centrale and Sempione, but the online free trial is for Milan residents only. In August 2026 the receptionist at Corso Manusardi refused tourists entirely: “resident local only”. Phone first, and see our Anytime Fitness page.
  • Towels and showers aren’t a given. Reviewers found no showers at 20Hours Club Zecca (2024), and no towels or drinks at Factory Gym Club (February 2026).
  • Some prices are given only at the desk. Ceresio 7 quotes prices only in person; Gold’s Gym’s Milano Palmanova club in Cimiano offers single-day entry on its official page without a price.
  • Sunday closures. 20Hours Club Zecca and The Bullet Gym close on Sundays, and Gym Santomasosei in Brera at weekends.

What to check before leaving your hotel

Confirm that the gym takes visitors, what it costs and what to bring. Check:

  • Today’s hours. Several gyms close on Sundays, and Saturday hours are often shorter.
  • That the gym sells to visitors who don’t live in Milan.
  • The current price, since many figures come from reviews.
  • A towel, water and ID.

If anything is unclear, send a short message:

Hello, I’m visiting Milan and would like to train on [date]. Do you sell a day pass to visitors who don’t live in Milan, and what does it cost? Can I pay by card, and are towels and showers available?
Avete un ingresso giornaliero? (Do you have a day pass?)

Packing light? Our carry-on gym packing list covers towels, lockers and showers.

Find a Milan gym that fits your trip

Daily Sweat keeps every Milan gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Milan gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.

Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.

Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.

Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.

The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
