Visitor pass ¥3,000 — it rose from ¥2,000 in March 2026 to ¥3,000 by May, confirmed by three separate 2026 reviews. Staff are only on site about 10:00–19:00 and you must register with them, and one visitor was asked to pay cash. Small and can feel crowded even with four people, but clean and handy for Kyoto Station.
