In Siem Reap, five gyms charge US$1 for a day, most of them hand you a towel, and the real price is the heat: the cheapest halls run on fans, not air-conditioning.
Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Siem Reap: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 12 Siem Reap gyms with one, and the 11 with a known price charge from US$1 to US$8, with US$1.50 the typical price. All 12 sell it at the front desk, and none sells online. The catch: the US$1 gyms have no air-conditioning, and three of them charge extra for the cardio machines, so budget US$3 to US$5 for a pool, a sauna or air-conditioning.
Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, how buying works, and what to do on a longer stay. For every listing, see all Siem Reap gyms with a day pass or the map. Travelling on through Thailand? See the Bangkok guide and the Chiang Mai guide.
Eight Siem Reap gyms worth the trip
All 12 listings are independent gyms; none belongs to a chain. These run from US$1 iron gyms with fans to US$5 clubs with air-conditioning, pools and saunas, and one US$8 wellness gym out of the centre. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.
1. Angkor Muscle Gym — US$1 for an old-school iron gym
Angkor Muscle Gym, about 1.3 km south of the city’s centre point on Daily Sweat, charges US$1 for a day at the front desk, plus US$1 to use the cardio machines, according to several reviews from 2025 and 2026. A February 2026 visitor found the price includes a locker and towel, and the gym “honestly not as hot as I thought it would be”, with fans in place of air-conditioning. It is a vintage open-air iron gym with Hammer Strength kit; the listing records showers and free weights. Hours are 6am–9pm every day.
2. GYMTIME — US$1 at a small local gym open until 10pm
GYMTIME, about 1.2 km east of the centre point, is listed at US$1 a day, paid at the desk; a June 2026 reviewer paid 3,000 riel and called it “Perfect for short time visits to Siem Reap.” A September 2025 visitor found barbell benches and a Smith machine but no squat rack, all well maintained, and no air-conditioning. Hours are 6am–10pm, except Saturday, when it closes at 9pm.
3. Siem Reap Fit — US$1.50 for a big local gym, towel included
Siem Reap Fit, about 0.9 km west of the centre point, charges US$1.50 for day entry, towel included, a price a February 2026 reviewer gave as 6,000 riel and a July 2026 visitor confirmed. Reviewers describe a large space with older but well-maintained machines and lots of plates, cooled by fans: “No air-con so best to come early or evening time”, one advised. Hours are 6:30am–9pm Monday to Saturday and 7am–9pm on Sunday.
4. Bulldogs Fitness Center — US$5 with air-conditioning and a pool
Bulldogs Fitness Center, on Rose Apple Road, charges US$5 a day at the desk, with a towel, locker, shower and pool access included — “Still $5 for a day pass as of April 5th”, a 2026 visitor wrote, adding that the dumbbells go up to 50 kg and the gym was very well air-conditioned at 37°C outside. A 2024 reviewer noted that the pool is in a slightly different location from the gym. The listing records showers, free weights and a pool; hours are 6am–9pm every day.
5. Free Form Fitness — US$5 with a sauna and an ice bath
Free Form Fitness, on Wat Bo Road about 0.6 km from the centre point, charges US$5 for entry, including a towel and locker, according to reviews from April to August 2026; an April 2026 visitor paid 20,500 riel. Reviewers describe a modern, spacious, very clean gym — “There is even a sauna and ice bath available” — with water machines to refill your bottle and an attached café for protein shakes. The listing records showers and a sauna; hours are 6am–9pm every day.
6. Gold Fitness — US$5 for a huge gym with a big pool
Gold Fitness, on Psar Dam Krolanh Road East north of the centre point, charged visitors in September and December 2025 US$5 for a daily pass, towel and locker key included — “For 5usd I would be happy to come back”, one wrote. Reviewers describe a huge space with separate cardio and spinning rooms, a class studio, a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and one of the biggest swimming pools in Siem Reap, but no air-conditioning in the weights hall. The listing records showers, a sauna and a pool; hours are 6am–9pm on weekdays and 6am–8pm at weekends.
7. Angkor Fitness — about US$5, central, with saunas and classes
Angkor Fitness, at the Watbo Bridge on Preah Sangreach Tep Vong Street, sells a day pass at the front desk that includes a towel, a locker, classes and the sauna, according to reviews from 2025 and 2026. The listing has no confirmed price, but a January 2026 holiday visitor wrote “The day pass is 5USD.” Reviewers praise strong air-conditioning, a large functional area and a cleanliness that one July 2026 member called rare; there is a café for protein shakes. Hours are 5:30am–9pm on weekdays, the earliest opening in town, and 6am–8pm at weekends.
8. I Grand Gym — US$8 for a wellness area out of town
I Grand Gym, on Jayavarman Road 4.9 km east of the centre point, sold a September 2025 visitor a US$8 day ticket that “includes towels and use of the wellness area”; a December 2025 reviewer called the 15–20 minutes from the city centre well worth it. It is a 2,000 m² gym with a pool, though one March 2026 reviewer found the jacuzzi out of order and many of the 10 kg plates damaged. Hours are 6am–9pm on weekdays and 6am–8pm at weekends.
Where to train, by area
Siem Reap is compact: 11 of the 12 listings sit within 2.5 km of the city’s centre point on Daily Sweat, and all are filed under Siem Reap itself, so this list groups them by street and direction. The Siem Reap gym map shows every listing by location.
- Wat Bo, in and just east of the centre: Angkor Fitness at the Watbo Bridge, Free Form Fitness on Wat Bo Road (US$5), Wat Bo Gym club (US$1) and, a few hundred metres beyond it, GYMTIME (US$1).
- West of the centre, around Rose Apple Road: Siem Reap Fit (US$1.50) and Bulldogs Fitness Center (US$5), a short walk apart.
- South and south-west: Angkor Muscle Gym (US$1) and P.N.L. Sport Club (US$1, towel included in a 2025 review, closed on Sundays).
- North: Gold Fitness on Psar Dam Krolanh Road East (US$5), Angkor Tiger Fitness on Platinum Road (US$3, with a pool) and, furthest out at 2.3 km, Sok Brokob Fitness Club on Street 30 (US$1).
- East, out of town: I Grand Gym on Jayavarman Road (US$8), 4.9 km from the centre point.
Daily Sweat records showers at 4 of the 12 listings and free weights at 6 (a blank means unconfirmed, not missing). If your hotel has a gym, weigh up hotel gym vs gym day pass first; for the general method, see how to find a gym day pass while travelling.
How much does a gym day pass cost in Siem Reap?
A gym day pass in Siem Reap costs US$1 to US$8, typically US$1.50, as of October 2026. Of the 12 gyms listed, 11 have a known price, and 6 of those charge US$1.50 or less.
- US$1, the local iron gyms: Angkor Muscle Gym, GYMTIME, P.N.L. Sport Club, Sok Brokob Fitness Club and Wat Bo Gym club. Expect fans rather than air-conditioning, older kit and, at Angkor Muscle Gym and Wat Bo Gym club, US$1 more for the cardio machines; Sok Brokob charges extra for them too.
- US$1.50, the typical price: Siem Reap Fit, towel included.
- US$3: Angkor Tiger Fitness, a small gym attached to a guesthouse, with a pool.
- US$5, the modern clubs: Bulldogs Fitness Center, Free Form Fitness and Gold Fitness, each with a towel and locker; Angkor Fitness, which has no listed price, was US$5 for a January 2026 visitor.
- US$8: I Grand Gym, with towels and its wellness area.
What you pay for above US$1 is mostly cooling and water: air-conditioning at Bulldogs and Angkor Fitness, a pool at Bulldogs, Gold Fitness, Angkor Tiger Fitness and I Grand Gym, and a sauna at Free Form Fitness, Gold Fitness and Angkor Fitness. The amount of kit matters less — reviewers call the US$1 halls well equipped.
Some prices are older: P.N.L. Sport Club’s US$1 and Wat Bo Gym club’s US$1 come from 2025 reviews, Angkor Tiger Fitness’s US$3 from 2024–25 reviews, and I Grand Gym’s US$8 from a 2025 review. Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked.
Buying a pass: what to know
Walk in and pay at the desk, in cash
All 12 listed gyms sell the pass at reception, and none sells online or offers a free trial. No listing is flagged cash-only, but carry cash anyway: GYMTIME’s notes say it takes cash, and a 2024 reviewer found Bulldogs didn’t accept credit cards. Prices are in US dollars, though reviewers have also paid in riel. At Wat Bo Gym club, bring small, newer dollar bills, as worn notes get refused.
Check the hours
Most gyms open at 6am and close at 9pm; Angkor Fitness opens at 5:30am on weekdays, GYMTIME stays open until 10pm except on Saturday, and Gold Fitness, I Grand Gym and Angkor Fitness close at 8pm at weekends. P.N.L. Sport Club opens at 7am and is closed on Sundays, and a 2023 visitor found it opened later than its listed time.
What the pass leaves out
Most passes here include a towel: reviewers say so at Angkor Muscle Gym, P.N.L. Sport Club, Wat Bo Gym club, Siem Reap Fit and every US$5–US$8 gym. The exception is Sok Brokob Fitness Club, the one listing that requires your own towel, where an April 2026 reviewer also found no disinfectant for the machines. At Angkor Tiger Fitness, two 2025 reviewers disagreed on whether towel and water are included, so bring both. Wat Bo Gym club has no lockers. Without air-conditioning, train early or in the evening and bring plenty of water; Free Form Fitness and Bulldogs have water to refill your bottle. Packing light? Our carry-on gym packing list covers towels and padlocks.
One message settles most of it
Hello, I’m visiting Siem Reap and would like to train on [date]. What is your current day-pass price, does it include the cardio machines, a towel and a locker, and can I pay in dollars or riel?
Day pass or weekly pass?
Pay by the day: as of October 2026, no Siem Reap listing on Daily Sweat has a weekly price, and a 2024 reviewer found Bulldogs offered only daily or monthly passes. What is on record for longer stays:
- Sok Brokob Fitness Club: US$1 a day or US$15 a month, in January and April 2026 reviews — worth it only if you train more than 15 times.
- Free Form Fitness: a 10-visit pass and monthly passes alongside the US$5 day entry (August 2026); the prices aren’t recorded yet.
- Cheap day passes: at US$1 a day, a week of daily sessions at Angkor Muscle Gym or GYMTIME costs less than one day at I Grand Gym.
Ask whether a package means consecutive days or a fixed number of entries, and when it expires. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.
Pools, saunas and air-conditioning
Daily Sweat records a pool at 4 Siem Reap listings and a sauna at 3. With the heat, these are what most visitors pay extra for:
- Pools: Angkor Tiger Fitness (US$3, gym and pool, at a guesthouse on Platinum Road), Bulldogs Fitness Center (US$5), Gold Fitness (US$5, one of the biggest pools in town) and I Grand Gym (US$8).
- Saunas: Free Form Fitness (US$5, with an ice bath), Gold Fitness (US$5, with a steam room and jacuzzi) and Angkor Fitness, where reviewers mention complimentary saunas.
- Air-conditioning: reviewers praise it at Bulldogs Fitness Center and Angkor Fitness. At Angkor Tiger Fitness, a 2024 reviewer found good air-conditioning but a 2025 one said it was barely working, and Gold Fitness’s weights hall has none. Angkor Tiger Fitness’s listing records 24-hour opening, but it is a guesthouse gym, so check before a late session.
Three more places have no confirmed day pass, so ask at the desk: Royal Sports Club Siem Reap, with a new weight room, outdoor pool, sauna and steam room but no visitor price on record; Meru Performance Center at Angkor Grace, where no gym-only day rate was captured; and the fitness centre at Prince Angkor, a hotel gym where it isn’t known whether non-residents can train.

Find a Siem Reap gym that fits your trip
Daily Sweat keeps every Siem Reap gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Siem Reap gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.
Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.
Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.
Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.
The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
