Lisbon Gym Day Passes: Where to Train, Prices and Tips for Tourists

By Daily Sweat9 min read

Lisbon is an easy city to keep training in: most gyms sell a day at the front desk, VivaGym alone has a dozen clubs, and about €10 gets you through the door.

Quick answer

Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Lisbon: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 31 Lisbon gyms with one, and the 14 with a known price charge from €5 to €55, with €10 the typical price. 29 sell it at the front desk, and 6 sell online. The catch: VivaGym asks you to bring a towel, and its listed €9.90 was €11.90 at one club’s desk in 2026, so carry a towel and a little extra.

Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, how buying works, and when a weekly pass beats paying by the day. For every listing, see all Lisbon gyms with a day pass or the map. Heading on to Spain? See the Madrid guide.

How much does a gym day pass cost in Lisbon?

A gym day pass in Lisbon costs €5 to €55, typically €10, as of October 2026. Of the 31 gyms listed, 14 have a known price, and half of those charge between €9.90 and €11.90.

  • €5–€8: Health and Fun (€5), Fábrica do Físico (€6) and GO fit Olivais (€8).
  • €9.90–€11.90, the typical range: VivaGym Picoas, Almirante Reis and Santos (€9.90), Solinca Light Saldanha, Fitness UP Almirante Reis and the National Club of Swimming (€10), and VivaGym Marquês de Pombal (€11.90).

Buying a pass: what to know

Walk in and pay at the desk

29 of the 31 listed gyms sell the pass at reception, and 6 sell online. VivaGym takes walk-ins and also sells through its website and the TrainAway app, so you can buy on the way.

Book ahead at the small and premium clubs

Two listings sell online only. Embody Lisboa caps each open-gym slot at 8 people and must be booked in advance, and Holmes Place Amoreiras offers a 1-day trial through its website that includes the gym, classes, pool and sauna, with no public price. A July 2026 visitor bought a day pass at the desk of Holmes Place Palácio Sottomayor, so ask there if you would rather walk in.

What the pass leaves out

A towel is required at 4 Lisbon listings — the three VivaGym clubs at €9.90 and Solinca Colombo — and a July 2026 visitor was charged for tap water at VivaGym Amoreiras. Club 7 is the exception, with towels provided. Pack workout clothes, shoes, a towel, a water bottle and a padlock.

One message settles most of it

Hello, I’m visiting Lisbon and would like to train on [date]. What is your current day-pass price, can I pay at reception, and do I need my own towel or padlock?

Day pass or weekly pass?

Count your likely workouts before buying a longer pass. Some on record:

  • Lemonfit Estefânia: €15 a day or €40 for 7 days (August 2026) — worth it from your third visit. It is the only Lisbon listing with a weekly price.
  • The Collective Fitness: drop-in packs for open gym on its own site, pitched at visitors and short-term stays; the price isn’t recorded yet.
  • Cheap day passes: at Health and Fun’s €5 or Fábrica do Físico’s €6, a week of daily sessions costs less than one day at Club 7.

Ask whether a package means consecutive calendar days or a fixed number of entries, and when it expires. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.

Chains and pools

Most Lisbon listings belong to a chain, and six chains sell visitors a day:

  • VivaGym, with 12 listings in and around Lisbon, including two still under the Fitness Hut name and one in Odivelas: €9.90 listed, €11.90 paid at Marquês de Pombal.
  • Lemonfit (€15 a day, €40 a week), GO fit (€8 at Olivais) and Fitness UP (€10 at Almirante Reis in 2025), with 2 listings each.
  • Solinca, with 2 listings: €10 at Saldanha on 2024–2025 evidence, and a sauna at Colombo, where the price is given at reception.
  • Holmes Place, with 2 listings: Amoreiras has a pool and sauna on its 1-day trial, and Palácio Sottomayor sold a day pass for the gym and wellness area in July 2026.

For a swim, Daily Sweat records a pool at 2 Lisbon listings: Holmes Place Amoreiras and the National Club of Swimming (Clube Nacional de Natação) on Rua de São Bento, where an August 2023 visitor paid a €10 drop-in fee with no hassle. That price is old, so confirm it first.

Find a Lisbon gym that fits your trip

Daily Sweat keeps every Lisbon gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Lisbon gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.

Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.

Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.

Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.

The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
