You’re in Kaohsiung for work or a long weekend, and you want a real session rather than the hotel treadmill. It needn’t cost much: many independent gyms sell a single entry (單次入場) at the desk for NT$100 to NT$200, often with no time limit.
Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Kaohsiung: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 31 Kaohsiung gyms with one, and the 15 with a known price charge from NT$80 to NT$650, with NT$200 the typical price. All 31 sell it at the front desk. The catch: the big chains cost three times as much (NT$600–NT$650 at Fitness Factory and World Gym), and some gyms bill by the minute or the hour, so ask for a single entry.
Below: seven gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, and how buying works. For every listing, see all Kaohsiung gyms with a day pass or the map, or start from the Taiwan page. Heading north? See our Taipei guide.

5. 高雄 城市健身房CITYFITNESS — NT$200 in Sanmin

At 健身工廠 Fitness Factory 福華廠, on the 2nd and 3rd floors at 80 Fuxing 1st Road in Sinsing, a visitor in August 2024 wrote: “Day pass is a bit pricey 600TWD but it’s worth it.” Its clubs open 6am–midnight from Monday to Saturday and 8am–midnight on Sundays (booking page). In December 2025 a visitor was offered a 3-day membership at the Qianjin Ziqiang club. See the Fitness Factory chain page for all eight.
7. World Gym SOGO — NT$650 on the 16th floor
World Gym SOGO, at 217 Sanduo 3rd Road in Cianjhen, charged a visitor in January 2026 NT$650 for a day pass, which they found “strangely high” next to a one-month membership at NT$1,000 (club page). See the World Gym chain page; our Taipei guide covers its clubs there.
Where to train, by district
Choose by district first, then price: a NT$100 pass across the city can cost more than a NT$200 pass nearby once you add return transport. The Kaohsiung gym map shows every listing by location.
- Qianjin: Home Gym (NT$100), 賽特體適能中華總店 (NT$200) and Fitness Factory’s Qianjin Ziqiang club.
- Sinsing: PUFC (NT$120), Liouhe Gym (NT$200) and Fitness Factory 福華廠 (NT$600).

Daily Sweat hasn’t yet recorded facilities such as showers or power racks for any Kaohsiung listing, so check the photos on each gym’s page, or ask; our guide to finding a day pass covers what to check. Short on time? See hotel gym vs gym day pass or our 30-minute hotel gym workout.
How much does a gym day pass cost in Kaohsiung?
A gym day pass in Kaohsiung costs NT$80 to NT$650, typically NT$200, as of October 2026. Of the 31 gyms listed, 15 have a known price, in three tiers:
- NT$80–NT$150: 勁成健身房 in Cianjhen (NT$80 per visit with no time limit, in a March 2025 review), Home Gym and FUNS (NT$100), PUFC (NT$120), OK Body project in Zuoying (NT$120, weekends only, in a 2022 post) and 美力健身房 (NT$150).
- NT$200, the typical price: CITYFITNESS, 赫力健身 Hercules Fitness (“Day pass TW200”, April 2026), DeerGym in Zuoying, 六合健身房 Liouhe Gym in Sinsing (a locker and water included in September 2024) and 賽特體適能中華總店 in Qianjin.
- NT$300 and up: Light Sports in Cianjhen (NT$300 with a QR code for 24/7 access, in January 2023), Fitness Factory 福華廠 (NT$600) and World Gym SOGO (NT$650).
Several prices are old (Light Sports from 2023, Fitness Factory and Liouhe from 2024), so confirm at the desk; a visitor to another Fitness Factory club, in Cianjhen, paid about US$20 for a day in October 2024. Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked.
Buying a pass: what to know
Ask for a single entry, not time billing
All 31 listed gyms sell the pass at the front desk, but not always at a flat price. PUFC sells per-minute plans alongside its NT$120 entry, reviews of Muku Gym in Zuoying describe pay-per-minute entry, and the Yancheng sports centre charged NT$50 an hour. Ask for 單次入場 (single entry) if you want a flat price. Offers can be narrow too: OK Body project’s NT$120 single entry was weekends only in its 2022 post, and the FUNS stamp card works only at the Arena branch.
What the pass leaves out
PUFC registers you before your first visit, so carry ID. FUNS asks for clean indoor shoes, so pack a second pair. Check today’s hours, especially on a Sunday: 美力健身房 is closed, and Home Gym and CITYFITNESS close early, at 7pm and 6pm. Bring cash in New Taiwan dollars plus a card, and see our carry-on gym packing list.

Find a Kaohsiung gym that fits your trip
Daily Sweat keeps every Kaohsiung gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Kaohsiung gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.
Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.
Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.
Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.
The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
