Da Nang’s local gyms are cheap — 30,000 VND buys a day at one — and visitors are welcome at the desk. What you pay more for here is air-conditioning.
Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Da Nang: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 27 Da Nang gyms with one, and the 22 with a known price charge from 20,000 to 300,000 VND; half charge 60,000 VND or less. All 27 sell it at the front desk. The catch: many cheap gyms have fans, not air-conditioning, and in the humid months that matters more than the price.
Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, how buying works, and when a weekly pass beats paying by the day. For every listing, see all Da Nang gyms with a day pass or the map. Travelling the length of Vietnam? See the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City guides.
Eight Da Nang gyms worth the trip
From 30,000 VND at a three-floor local gym to 300,000 VND at a performance gym near the beach, with two saunas, a rooftop hotel gym open to non-guests, a free first visit and two weekly passes. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.
1. HL Fitness — 30,000 VND for three floors
HL Fitness at 34 Hoàng Văn Thụ, in Hải Châu, charged visitors in April and May 2026 30,000 VND for a day pass (50,000 VND on public holidays) — the cheapest real option in the city. Three floors, plenty of machines, dumbbells to about 30 kg and a power rack, but no air-conditioning, only fans; a 1.5-litre bottle of water costs 11,000 VND. Hours are 5am–9pm, closing at 7pm on Sunday. HL’s other clubs charge the same: 300 Hải Phòng in Thanh Khê and 982 Ngô Quyền in An Hải, where a month is 200,000 VND.
2. Panda Kickfitness — a sauna for 50,000 VND
Panda Kickfitness, at 72 Hàm Nghi in Thanh Khê, charged a visitor in May 2026 50,000 VND for one entrance to an airy gym with a sauna. Hours are 5am–10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am–5pm on Sunday. Nearby, Gym Olympia Đặng Sanh also charges 50,000 VND (February 2026).
3. PIG GYM — 100,000 VND with a free sauna
PIG GYM, at 33 Đỗ Bá in Ngũ Hành Sơn, charged visitors in February, April and July 2026 100,000 VND for a day pass (one paid 110,000 VND), with the sauna included free; a month is 550,000 VND. An old-school mix of rusty and modern kit, no air-conditioning and brutal humidity, mostly tourists, and very busy on Saturdays. Hours are 5am–8pm Monday to Saturday and 8am–6pm on Sunday. Its sister, PIG GYM CS 2 near Hàn Market, charges 100,000 VND for one entry with no re-entry, and its upper floor is reserved for women and personal-training clients.
4. HD Fitness Center — 150,000 VND with towels and classes
HD Fitness Center 1, at 996 Ngô Quyền in An Hải, charges 150,000 VND a day with two towels, and group classes — Zumba, yoga and dance — are included. A quiet, friendly desk and showers, but cramped, with limited cardio. Hours are 5am–8pm Monday to Saturday and 9am–5pm on Sunday (official site). The chain’s Hải Châu club on Nguyễn Thiện Thuật charges the same, but reviewers came for the advertised air-con and found it off during a June 2026 heat wave.
5. Evolve Gym — your first visit free, then 150,000 VND
Evolve Gym Danang, at 14 Hồ Xuân Hương near Mỹ Khê beach, gives visitors a free first-visit day pass, claimed over WhatsApp before you arrive, then charges 150,000 VND a visit, 490,000 VND a week or 1,990,000 VND a month, according to its official site (August 2026). The air-con is on from 8am, which several reviewers say is rare in Da Nang, and the machines are excellent and unusual; showers are listed. Open 8am–midnight every day (official site).
6. VIO Fitness — 200,000 VND for brand-new kit in the centre
VIO Fitness & Gym, at the corner of Trần Phú and Nguyễn Du in Hải Châu, charged a visitor in July 2026 200,000 VND for a day pass including two towels. It opened in early 2026, with brand-new kit, strong air-con, a sauna and a protein café, and is popular with Da Nang’s English- and Russian-speaking community. Hours are 5:30am–8:30pm Monday to Saturday and 8am–7pm on Sunday.
7. Vinabeast Rooftop Gym — 200,000 VND on a hotel roof
Vinabeast Rooftop Gym, on the roof of the Le Cap hotel at 16 Đặng Vũ Hỷ in An Hải, is open to non-guests for 200,000 VND a day, or 2,000,000 VND a month (June 2026). Two rooms of high-quality machines, strong air-con, free towels, cleaning spray, showers and city and sunset views; there is no sauna or steam room. The listing also records a pool. Open 6am–midnight every day (official site).
8. Elevate Performance & Fitness — 300,000 VND, with a weekly pass
Elevate Performance & Fitness, at 71 Hoàng Kế Viêm in Ngũ Hành Sơn, publishes its prices: 300,000 VND a day, 1,200,000 VND a week and 2,000,000 VND for a 10-day pass. Hours are 9am–7:30pm on weekdays and 11am–2pm on Saturday (official site).
Where to train, by neighbourhood
Da Nang splits across the Hàn River: the city centre on the west bank, the beach districts on the east. A cheap pass loses its appeal once you add a taxi across the river, so compare the journey from your hotel. The Da Nang gym map shows every listing by location.
- Hải Châu (city centre): HL Fitness on Hoàng Văn Thụ, VIO Fitness, HD Fitness Hải Châu, PIG GYM CS 2 near Hàn Market and Khế Gym on Trưng Nữ Vương (100,000 VND), with air-con that genuinely works and English-speaking reception — though a July 2026 reviewer found it very dirty, and there are no towels or locker keys.
- Thanh Khê: HL Fitness on Hải Phòng, Panda Kickfitness, Gym Olympia Đặng Sanh and Gym Aerobic Hoàng Long (30,000 VND; open from 4:30am).
- An Hải and Sơn Trà (the northern beach side): Vinabeast, HD Fitness Center 1, HL Fitness on Ngô Quyền, TV Fitness Club (50,000 VND with a towel), BLACK’S GYM CENTER (day passes; repeatedly described as very hot), No Limits Horizon Wellness on Võ Nguyên Giáp (day or longer passes) and HT Gym, whose day pass a March 2026 visitor called incredibly cheap.
- Ngũ Hành Sơn (Mỹ Khê south to An Thượng): Evolve, PIG GYM, Elevate, TamTayGym in An Thượng (short-term options for travellers; card and cash), Naomi Gym (40,000 VND), 38 Gym (60,000 VND with a small water), Gym Fitness Thanh Hùng (30,000 VND; afternoons only) and Wonder Fitness Center (150,000 VND).
- Further south: Minh Trí Fitness Center in Hòa Xuân, a big open-air gym with a sauna (100,000 VND).
Air-conditioning is the real dividing line. HL Fitness and PIG GYM have none, HD Fitness Hải Châu’s was off in a June 2026 heat wave, and BLACK’S GYM’s stretching room air-con wasn’t working in August 2026. Evolve, VIO and Vinabeast are the reliably cool picks. Daily Sweat records a sauna at 5 Da Nang listings and a power rack at 2.

Buying a pass: what to know
Walk in and pay at the desk
All 27 listed gyms sell the pass at reception; TamTayGym notes it takes card as well as cash. Evolve is the one that rewards planning, with a free first visit claimed on WhatsApp. At HT Gym, staff are not always at the desk to take payment, so be ready to wait.
A day pass can mean one entry
At PIG GYM CS 2, 100,000 VND buys one entry: leave to eat and you can’t come back in. If you plan a morning and evening session, ask before you pay. Free trials can also come with conditions — HD Fitness told a June 2026 visitor its trial was for Vietnamese only.
What the pass leaves out
Towels come with the pass at TV Fitness, HD Fitness Center 1, VIO and Vinabeast; PIG GYM CS 2 rents them, and Naomi Gym and Khế Gym provide none, so bring a towel and a lock. Water is sold at HL Fitness and free at Khế Gym, and at HD Fitness Hải Châu the dispenser is downstairs past the turnstile. Pack clean indoor shoes for HL Fitness.
One message settles most of it
Hello, I’m visiting Da Nang and would like to train on [date]. What is your day-pass price, can I come back later the same day, and is the air-conditioning on? Do I need my own towel?
Day pass or weekly pass?
Count your likely workouts before buying a longer pass. Some on record:
- Evolve Gym: 150,000 VND a visit or 490,000 VND a week — worth it from your fourth visit, and the first is free.
- Elevate Performance & Fitness: 300,000 VND a day or 1,200,000 VND a week — four days’ price, so worth it from your fifth visit; a 10-day pass is 2,000,000 VND.
- Monthly at local gyms: HL Fitness charges 200,000 VND a month at 982 Ngô Quyền, less than seven day passes, and PIG GYM 550,000 VND.
Ask whether a package means consecutive calendar days or a fixed number of entries, and when it expires. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.

Find a Da Nang gym that fits your trip
Daily Sweat keeps every Da Nang gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Da Nang gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.
Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.
Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.
Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.
The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
