Your District 1 hotel has a treadmill facing a wall, and you’d like to lift before the heat sets in. In Ho Chi Minh City that’s cheap and easy: neighbourhood gyms sell a walk-in day pass at the desk, from 50,000 VND at a local gym to 290,000 VND at a big chain club.
Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Ho Chi Minh City: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 20 Saigon gyms with one, and the 9 with a known price charge from 50,000 VND to 290,000 VND, typically 150,000 VND. All 20 sell the pass at the front desk. The catch is the heat: several cheaper gyms run on fans, not air-conditioning, so train early and bring a drink.
Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, how buying works, and when a weekly pass beats paying by the day. For every listing, see all Ho Chi Minh City gyms with a day pass or the map, or start from the Vietnam page. Heading north? See our Hanoi guide.
Eight Ho Chi Minh City gyms worth the trip
From 50,000–100,000 VND local gyms to the typical 150,000 VND and 200,000–290,000 VND clubs with more comfort, in Districts 1, 3 and 4 and Bình Thạnh. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.
1. TyDii Gym — 50,000 VND for a serious session
TyDii Gym, at 88/24 Nguyễn Khoái in Vĩnh Hội, charged a visitor in March 2026 50,000 VND for a one-day pass and 450,000 for a month; that visitor also mentions functional machines, and a January 2026 traveller trained here for four weeks. Hours are 5am–9pm from Monday to Saturday and 5am–7pm on Sundays. It has no website; directions are on the gym’s page.
2. Mach’s Gym (C’Gym) — 80,000 VND by Bến Thành
Mach’s Gym, also listed on Maps as C’Gym, at 1 Huyền Trân Công Chúa in District 1, charges that price according to reviews from April 2025 to January 2026; a March 2026 visitor quotes 80k a day or 300k for a week. Visitors report free weights, and a January 2026 reviewer notes two Smith machines but no proper squat rack. You can pay in cash or by card. Hours are 6am–9:30pm from Monday to Saturday and 8am–6pm on Sundays.
3. V Gym Club — 100,000 VND for three floors
V Gym Club, at 189–191 Nguyễn Thái Học in Bến Thành, charged visitors in May and August 2026 100,000 VND for a walk-in day pass; a May 2026 visitor mentions toilets and showers.
4. YourFit Private Gym — 100,000 VND off-peak, with a power rack
YourFit Private Gym, at 103 Điện Biên Phủ in Gia Định, publishes its own rates: 100,000 VND a session off-peak (6am–4pm on weekdays and all day at weekends) and 200,000 VND at peak (4pm–10pm on weekdays). The listing records showers, and no sauna or pool. Hours are 6am–10pm from Monday to Saturday and 8am–8pm on Sundays (price page).
5. 88 Fitness And Wellness — 150,000 VND for new kit
88 Fitness And Wellness, on the 2nd floor of Block C at Central Garden, 328 Võ Văn Kiệt, charged visitors in May and July 2026 150,000 VND for day entry. Despite the “Private GYM” in its name, travellers are let in. A May 2026 visitor found fans keeping it cool and had it almost to themselves at 10am.
6. Gym One — 200,000 VND with a sauna and towel
Gym One, at 26A Lê Quý Đôn, is the best-equipped gym on this list: a May 2026 visitor paid 200,000 VND for a day pass and got the towel on entry, a January 2026 review quotes 900,000 VND for a week, and an April 2026 review describes free weights, Smith machines and power racks. Hours are 6am–10pm from Monday to Saturday and 8am–8pm on Sundays (official site).
7. CITIGYM (Bến Vân Đồn) — 290,000 VND for a big chain club
CITIGYM, at 34–35 Bến Vân Đồn in Xóm Chiếu, charged that May 2026 visitor “290k viet for the day”, the highest known price in the city; they praised its good ventilation after leaving two other gyms that were too hot. A June 2026 member, though, found the weights area crowded and hot, with limited free equipment. Hours are 6am–11pm on weekdays and 8am–10pm at weekends (official site). See the CITIGYM chain page.
8. Anytime Fitness Võ Thị Sáu — open 24 hours
Anytime Fitness Võ Thị Sáu, at 80 Võ Thị Sáu, suits training very early or late at night. That December 2025 visitor says its day pass suits short visits, and tourists from the Philippines and Singapore have trained here. No price is recorded yet, so ask at the desk (official site). See the Anytime Fitness chain page.
Where to train, by district
A 50,000 VND pass across the city can cost more than a 150,000 VND pass nearby once you add a ride. The Ho Chi Minh City gym map shows every listing by location.
- District 1 (Bến Thành, Cầu Ông Lãnh, Tân Định): Mach’s Gym, V Gym Club, 88 Fitness and Anytime Fitness, plus CLB Fitness T&V (a bodybuilding favourite; a January 2026 review quotes 90k a day) and Clb Thể Hình Trần Hưng Đạo (an old-school gym where reviews quote 50k entry).
- District 3: Gym One (200,000 VND).
- District 4: TyDii Gym (50,000 VND), CITIGYM (290,000 VND) and PRO GYM & FITNESS Quận 4, where a June 2026 visitor found a welcoming walk-in reception.
- Bình Thạnh: YourFit (100,000–200,000 VND) and KingKong L.A Gym, which sold day passes in July 2026, price not confirmed.
- Thảo Điền: GYM KAO, where an April 2026 review lists day, week, month and annual passes, and Gorilla Gym, with free eggs and bananas after your workout, according to 2026 reviews; neither price is confirmed.
Of the 20 listings, Daily Sweat records free weights at 7, showers at 5, a power rack at 3 and a sauna at 2 (Gym One and Mars Gym); a blank means unconfirmed, not missing. None records a pool. Short on time? See hotel gym vs gym day pass or our 30-minute hotel gym workout.
How much does a gym day pass cost in Ho Chi Minh City?
A gym day pass in Ho Chi Minh City costs 50,000 VND to 290,000 VND, typically 150,000 VND, as of October 2026. Of the 20 gyms listed, 9 have a known price:
- 50,000–100,000 VND: TyDii Gym (50,000), Mach’s Gym (80,000), V Gym Club and YourFit off-peak (100,000).
- 150,000 VND, the typical price: 88 Fitness And Wellness and Mars Gym, whose price dates from April 2024.

Many more gyms sell day passes without a confirmed price, because reviews give amounts like “50k” without a currency or disagree with each other. Prices come mostly from dated traveller reviews; each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked — confirm at the desk.
Buying a pass: what to know
Walk in, agree the price, then pay
All 20 listings sell at the front desk; carry Vietnamese dong in cash, plus a card. Agree the price first: in May 2025 a visitor to KingKong L.A Gym saw 13k a day advertised outside but was charged 100k, an April 2025 reviewer of FIT CENTER was quoted different prices on two days, and YourFit doubles its price from 4pm on weekdays. Check today’s hours — several gyms close at 9pm, and Sunday hours are shorter. Entrances can be hard to find: V Gym Club is reached through a ramen restaurant, and at CLB Fitness T&V a June 2025 visitor had to go into the cultural centre, past the badminton courts.
What the pass leaves out
Air-conditioning, for a start: reviews describe TyDii Gym as very hot and Clb Thể Hình Trần Hưng Đạo as running a single fan, and even at CITIGYM a June 2026 member found the weights area hot, so train early and bring electrolytes. A November 2025 visitor to Clb Thể Hình Trần Hưng Đạo describes a bucket-and-ladle cold shower; if you need a proper shower, choose a gym that lists one. Pack a towel, a padlock, a big bottle of water and training shoes, plus clean indoor shoes for YourFit. Shefit By PCS in District 1 is a women-only gym that sells day passes. One message settles most of it
Hello, I’m visiting Ho Chi Minh City and would like to train today. Do you sell a day pass, how much is it, and do you have air-conditioning and showers?
Có vé tập một ngày không? “Do you have a one-day pass?”
Day pass or weekly pass?
Two week-pass prices are on record:
- Mach’s Gym: 300,000 VND a week against 80,000 a day, so the week pays off from your fourth visit.
- Gym One: 900,000 VND a week including classes, against 200,000 a day: worth it from your fifth visit.
GYM KAO also sells week passes, price not confirmed. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.

Find a Ho Chi Minh City gym that fits your trip
Daily Sweat keeps every Ho Chi Minh City gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Ho Chi Minh City gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.
Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.
Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.
Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.
The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
