Your London hotel gym is a treadmill and a few light dumbbells, or there’s none at all. You want a proper session between meetings or museums without signing up for a membership.
Yes: as of September 2026, 69 London gyms on Daily Sweat sell a day pass, with published prices from £7.50 to £50 and £10 typical (roughly US$13 at September 2026 exchange rates). The most common way to buy is online for one specific club (33 of the 69 listings), as at The Gym Group and PureGym; most independents sell at the front desk. The catch: several City gyms, including PureGym Moorgate and Fitness First Liverpool St, close at weekends.

Buying a pass: what to know
Buy online for one club, or pay at the desk
33 of the 69 listings sell online for one specific club: The Gym Group and PureGym passes are for one gym, and Fitness First’s are for a chosen club and date. Most independents sell at the front desk. None of the 69 records a cash-only desk, and none records a free trial; Hitio Gym Hoxton’s paid 3-day trial is the closest. Choosing between the chains? Our PureGym and Fitness First guides above explain how each pass works.
What the pass leaves out
Check opening hours on your training day, especially at weekends in the City: PureGym Aldgate, Moorgate and Tower Hill and Fitness First Liverpool St, Fenchurch St and Oxford Circus list Saturday and Sunday as closed. Towels vary — Tonico included them in February 2026, Buzz Gym Cannon Street hires them out, and Retrofit London had stopped providing them by September 2025 — so pack a towel and a padlock; our carry-on gym packing list covers the rest. None of the 69 listings records an indoor-shoe rule or a women-only policy.
