Hiwa Recreation Centre is on the Auckland map, but no traveller has confirmed yet whether it sells a day pass to visitors, or what it costs.
Reviews from around September 2025 mention a $29 activity card for summer school and a $200 student annual card, both membership-style rather than single-visit prices, alongside a pool, sauna and spa. A July 2026 reviewer says the website never states whether people from the community can hire facilities at all, and a January 2026 reviewer reports the centre closing early without warning. Confirm public eligibility and pricing directly with the university before visiting.
