Tenerife Gym Day Passes: Where to Train, Prices and Tips for Tourists

By Daily Sweat10 min read

Tenerife’s resort gyms are independents, not chains, and fifteen of them will sell a holidaymaker a day. Expect €5 to €15 for a serious weights room near the beach — and ask whether the price you are quoted is the resident or the tourist one.

Quick answer

Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Tenerife: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 15 Tenerife gyms with one, and the 10 with a known price charge from €5 to €47, with €15 the typical price. All 15 sell it at the front desk; none is listed as selling online. The catch: some gyms charge visitors more than residents — a May 2026 visitor paid €15 at a Los Cristianos gym whose €10 web price turned out to be for residents — so ask the price before you pay.

Every Tenerife listing on Daily Sweat sits in the south-west of the island, within about 14 km of Costa Adeje: Adeje town, Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas, Los Cristianos and Los Abrigos. If you are staying in the north, around Puerto de la Cruz or Santa Cruz, these gyms are a long drive away. Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, how buying works, and when a weekly pass beats paying by the day. For every listing, see all Tenerife gyms with a day pass or the map. Flying on to the mainland? See the Málaga guide.

Eight Tenerife gyms worth the trip

From €5 for a weights room in Adeje to €47 for four hours of spa, classes and gym in Costa Adeje, with three gyms at €10 or less, two weekly passes, a gym on the Las Américas strip and the latest weekday hours in the south. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.

1. Fullfitness77 — €5 a day in Adeje

  1. Fullfitness7738670 Adeje, Tenerife5.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€5 a day or €20 a week at an Adeje gym full of Panatta machines, with indoor and outdoor training areas.

Fullfitness77, at Avenida de Ayyo 10 in Adeje, lists a €5 single day in the weights room on its own price list, with a week at €20 and two weeks at €30, and visitors from September 2025 to July 2026 confirm €5 a day. Reviewers single out the Panatta machines, many of them for legs, and the indoor and outdoor sections, though the outside parts “appear a bit neglected”, a January 2026 visitor wrote, adding “I was the only tourist there and felt welcome”. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 8am–4pm at weekends (official site).

Before you go: bring your own towel — a September 2025 visitor says you need one to get in, though towels are on sale — and expect a €5 deposit on the access card.

2. World Fitness Gym — €8 in Los Abrigos

  1. Gimnasio World Fitness Gym38618 Los Abrigos, Tenerife8.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€8 for a session in May 2026 at a Los Abrigos gym with rows of plate-loaded machines and a big free-weight section.

World Fitness Gym, on Calle El Choco in Los Abrigos, about 14 km east of Costa Adeje, charged a UK holidaymaker in May 2026 €8 for a session and praised the plate-loaded machines and the free-weight section. A visitor on a bodybuilding plan, a walk from their hotel, called it the “Best holiday gym I’ve ever been to!” in July 2026. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 8am–2pm on Saturday (official site).

Before you go: it is closed on Sundays, and Saturday sessions end at 2pm.

3. Alpha Gym Las Américas — €9.90 on the strip

  1. Alpha Gym Las Américas38660 Playa de las Américas, Tenerife9.90 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€9.90 a day in August 2026 at a gym on the Playa de las Américas strip, opened in February 2025 with brand-new machines.

Alpha Gym Las Américas, at Calle Managua 12 in Playa de las Américas, sold a holidaymaker in August 2026 a €9.90 day pass; a May 2026 visitor paid €10 for a session with no time limit, and a February 2026 reviewer bought a 5-day pass for €25. It opened in February 2025 with brand-new machines, a CrossFit area and free weights, and it is close enough to the sea that “you can actually feel the ocean breeze while you train”, a February 2026 visitor wrote. In June 2025 there was no air conditioning, only strong vents. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 9am–5pm at weekends.

Before you go: pack a towel — a June 2025 reviewer says “a workout towel is a must”.

4. Fitness Club Starfit Adeje — €10, open until 10:30pm

  1. Fitness Club Starfit Adeje38679 Adeje, Tenerife10.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€10 an entry at a modern Adeje club with one price for everyone and the latest weekday hours in the south, until 10:30pm.

Fitness Club Starfit Adeje, at Calle Charfa 24 in Adeje, charged a one-week visitor in November 2025 €10 an entry, and a December 2025 visitor paid the same. “Modern, functional, high quality machines - not your usual aging gym”, the first wrote, though it is “A taxi ride depending where you are in Adeje”. A resident reviewer in January 2025 noted one price for everyone rather than separate resident and non-resident rates. Hours are 6am–10:30pm on weekdays and 8am–8pm at weekends, the latest weekday close of any Tenerife listing (official site).

Before you go: bring a padlock if you want to use the lockers.

5. Duke Gym — €15 a day or €45 a week in Costa Adeje

  1. Duke Gym Tenerife38660 Costa Adeje, Tenerife15.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€15 a day or €45 a week in May 2026, in the Duke Shops in Costa Adeje, with a wide range of machines, free weights and showers.

Duke Gym Tenerife, reached through The Duke Shops on Avenida de Bruselas in Costa Adeje, in the grounds of the Duque hotel complex, charged €15 a day or €45 a week in May 2026. That reviewer found the machines laid out by muscle group, signs for CrossFit and powerlifting sections, and a clean changing room with showers, lockers and toilets. An April 2026 holidaymaker on a physique programme wrote: “This gym is everything and more.” Hours are 7am–10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am–5pm on Sunday (official site).

Before you go: training three times or more? The week costs the same as three days.

6. Unlimited Hammer Gym — €15 for old-school kit in Arona

  1. Unlimited Hammer Gym6 local 18 bajo, Tenerife15.00 EUR day passChecked Sep 2026€15 a day at a tidy old-school gym on Avenida Juan Carlos I in Arona, with a CrossFit area and long weekend hours.

Unlimited Hammer Gym, in the Multicentro Club on Avenida Juan Carlos I in Arona, near Los Cristianos, sells a €15 day pass, a December 2025 visitor wrote — “a really great hardcore vibe”. A July 2025 visitor had “never seen a gym this tidy before” and paid €58 for two weeks. An April 2026 regular rates the equipment but finds the gym very dark, and says it used to cost €6 a day. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 9am–8pm at weekends.

Before you go: staying a fortnight? Ask for the two-week pass.

7. Clan Fitness — a week for under €30

  1. Clan Fitness Tenerife38660 Costa Adeje, TenerifePrice at the deskChecked Sep 2026A 7-day pass for under €30 in February 2026, at a well-equipped Costa Adeje gym where signing up takes a few minutes.

Clan Fitness Tenerife, at Calle Antonio Navarro 4 in Costa Adeje, sold a February 2026 visitor a 7-day pass for under €30 — “I used it every single day” — with €5 back on returning the access chip. “Signing up for a week was incredibly easy (took only a few minutes)”, a July 2026 visitor wrote, and the gym sells supplements by the serving. The single-day price isn’t recorded yet. Hours are 7am–10pm on weekdays and 9am–4pm at weekends (official site).

Before you go: bring a towel — in 2023 one was required on the equipment, or you paid a small fee each time to use one of theirs.

8. Aqua Club Termal — €47 for four hours with the spa

  1. Aqua Club Termal38660 Torvisca Alto, Tenerife47.00 EUR day passSaunaPoolChecked Sep 2026€47 for non-residents: four uninterrupted hours of thermal circuit, classes and gym in Torviscas Alto, with a pool and sauna.

Aqua Club Termal, at Calle Galicia 6 in Torviscas Alto, Costa Adeje, sells non-residents a €47 Daypass on its own price list: four uninterrupted hours covering the thermal circuit, guided classes and the gym. It is the only Tenerife listing where Daily Sweat records a pool and a sauna. A March 2026 member found the gym well equipped and clean, and the classes run from yoga and Pilates to salsa; an August 2025 spa visitor liked the jacuzzi and salt pool but found “a leisure centre vibe rather than a luxury spa”. Hours are 8am–9pm on weekdays and 9am–9pm at weekends (official site).

Before you go: take a water bottle — a May 2026 visitor found only a water fountain in the circuit area.

Where to train, by resort

The south’s resorts run into each other along the coast, but Adeje town and Los Abrigos are a drive or a taxi from the beach hotels. Compare the journey from your door to reception before choosing on price. The Tenerife gym map shows every listing by location.

  • Costa Adeje, Torviscas and Fañabé: Clan Fitness, Duke Gym, Aqua Club Termal, Colina GYM on Calle Irlanda (“really good value, especially for a week pass”, in January 2023, with no price given), RED GYM on Calle Alemania, a fitness and MMA gym last confirmed in July 2025, and EVOLUTIONPRO FITNESS, an open-air gym on an old tennis court at Club de Tenis Miraverde in Fañabé (€15 to drop in, in November 2024), open only 5pm–8pm on weekdays.
  • Adeje town: Fullfitness77 (€5) and Fitness Club Starfit (€10).
  • Playa de las Américas: Alpha Gym (€9.90), Minimal Fitness Club in the Zentral Center on Avenida Arquitecto Gómez Cuesta, one block behind the main strip, with Olympic lifting platforms and squat racks, and Arena Training Center on Calle Finlandia, last confirmed in January 2023.
  • Los Cristianos and Arona: Bodyline Fitness Club in the Parque Santiago 6 centre on Avenida de Chayofita (€10 a day in July 2026), Arnold Fit Gym, also on Avenida de Chayofita (€15 for non-residents) and Unlimited Hammer Gym (€15).
  • Los Abrigos: World Fitness Gym (€8).

No Tenerife listing is open 24 hours; Starfit stays open until 10:30pm on weekdays, and most others close at 10pm. Weekends are shorter: World Fitness Gym, Colina GYM and RED GYM close on Sundays, and several gyms shut at 2pm to 5pm. Another 22 gyms appear on the map as grey pins with no day pass on record — ask at the desk if one is next to your hotel.

How much does a gym day pass cost in Tenerife?

A gym day pass in Tenerife costs €5 to €47, typically €15, as of October 2026. Of the 15 gyms listed, 10 have a known price, and half of those charge €10 or less.

  • €5–€8: Fullfitness77 (€5) and World Fitness Gym (€8).
  • €9.90–€10: Alpha Gym Las Américas (€9.90), and Bodyline Fitness Club and Fitness Club Starfit (€10).
  • €15, the typical price: Duke Gym, Arnold Fit Gym (the non-resident rate), Unlimited Hammer Gym and EVOLUTIONPRO FITNESS, whose price is from November 2024.
  • €47: Aqua Club Termal, for four hours including the thermal circuit and classes.
  • Ask at the desk: Clan Fitness, Colina GYM, Minimal Fitness Club, RED GYM and Arena Training Center, which sell passes but have no day price on record.

Every listing is independent, so price follows the gym rather than a chain: the cheapest are no-frills weights rooms, the €15 tier includes Costa Adeje’s better-equipped clubs, and the top of the range buys a spa.

Prices move: an April 2026 regular at Unlimited Hammer Gym says a day used to cost €6 there, against €15 now, and EVOLUTIONPRO’s €15 is from 2024. Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked.

Buying a pass: what to know

Walk in and pay at the desk

All 15 listed gyms sell the pass at reception, and none is listed as selling online. Arnold Fit Gym’s website sells a Pase de Día (day pass) for tourists and deducts it if you join, but a May 2026 visitor says the tourist discount advertised there didn’t work at the door. EVOLUTIONPRO FITNESS keeps short hours, and a November 2024 visitor arranged a session through Instagram first.

Deposits, towels and locks

Some gyms hand out an access card or chip against a deposit: €5 at Fullfitness77, and Clan Fitness gave €5 back when a February 2026 visitor returned the chip. No listing records a towel rule, but reviewers at Fullfitness77 (September 2025) and Alpha Gym (June 2025) say to bring one, and in 2023 Clan Fitness charged a small fee each time you used one of its towels. At Starfit, bring a padlock for the lockers. Pack workout clothes, shoes, a towel, a water bottle and a padlock.

Free sessions are trials, not passes

No Tenerife listing records a free trial. Bodyline Fitness Club’s website advertises a free trial session (sesión de prueba gratis) — a trial, not a day pass; a holidaymaker paid €10 a day there in July 2026.

One message settles most of it

Hello, I’m on holiday in Tenerife and would like to train on [date]. What is your day-pass price for non-residents, can I pay at reception, and do I need my own towel or padlock? (Hola, ¿cuánto cuesta el pase de un día para no residentes y puedo pagar en recepción?)

Day pass or weekly pass?

Only one Tenerife listing has a weekly price on record, but holidaymakers report several more. Count your likely workouts first:

  • Fullfitness77: €5 a day, €20 a week or €30 for two weeks on its own price list — four visits cost the same as the week, so it pays from the fifth.
  • Duke Gym: €15 a day or €45 a week (May 2026) — worth it from your fourth visit.
  • Alpha Gym Las Américas: €25 for a 5-day pass (February 2026) against €9.90 a day — worth it from your third visit.
  • Clan Fitness: a 7-day pass for under €30 (February 2026).
  • Two weeks: Minimal Fitness Club charged €50 in June 2026, and Unlimited Hammer Gym €58 in July 2025.
  • RED GYM: a July 2025 visitor paid €10 for a week — an old price and an unusually low one, so check at the desk.

Ask whether a pass means consecutive calendar days or a fixed number of entries, and when it expires. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.

Resident prices and tourist prices

All 15 Tenerife listings are independent gyms; no chain sells a visitor a day here, and the two chain-branded gyms on the map, Easy Fitness and Endorfina Plus Fitness Club, have no pass on record. That leaves each gym to set its own rates, and some set one for residents and another for visitors:

  • Arnold Fit Gym, Los Cristianos: a May 2026 visitor says the €10 one-time entry on the website is the resident price and that non-residents get prices “+50%”; they paid €15, as did another visitor that month. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 8am–3pm at weekends.
  • Aqua Club Termal: its €47 Daypass is the non-resident rate on its own price list.
  • Fitness Club Starfit: one price for everyone, a resident reviewer noted in January 2025 — €10 an entry.

Ask for the precio para no residentes (non-resident price) before you pay, and if a gym’s tourist rate is higher than you want, Fullfitness77 (€5) and World Fitness Gym (€8) were the cheapest on record in 2026. For a swim, Aqua Club Termal is the only listing with a pool on record, and its Daypass includes the thermal circuit.

Find a Tenerife gym that fits your trip

Daily Sweat keeps every Tenerife gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Tenerife gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.

Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.

Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.

Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.

The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
