Cusco is a cheap and easy city to keep training in: every gym with a day pass sells it at the front desk, most charge S/ 20, and the cheapest, a well-reviewed three-floor gym, costs half that — as long as you have soles in cash.
Tourists can buy a gym day pass in Cusco: as of October 2026, Daily Sweat lists 12 Cusco gyms with one, and the 10 with a known price charge from S/ 10 to S/ 25, with S/ 20 the typical price. All 12 sell it at the front desk, and none sells online. The catch: carry cash — the cheapest pass, Sector 7’s S/ 10, is cash only according to 2026 reviews, and I FITNESS GYM adds S/ 1 if you pay by card.
Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, how buying works, when a weekly pass beats paying by the day, and where to train on a Sunday. For every listing, see all Cusco gyms with a day pass or the map. Arriving via Lima? The Lima guide covers the capital, and Urubamba, 29 km away, has 3 listings of its own.
One thing no listing can change: Cusco is high up, and reviewers notice. Alpha Gym’s listing calls it well-equipped “for training at altitude”, and a January 2026 visitor at Athena Fitness Club called it the “highest altitude i’ve ever trained at for sure.” If you have only just arrived, expect a familiar workout to feel harder than usual, and keep the first session light.
Eight Cusco gyms worth the trip
From S/ 10 at a three-floor gym on Giraldo Ruiz Caro to S/ 25 at a basement club full of Panatta machines, with six S/ 15–S/ 20 gyms in between, among them the only listing with showers on record. All twelve Cusco listings are independents, so prices are set gym by gym. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.
1. Sector 7 Training Center — S/ 10 for three floors
Sector 7 Training Center, at Giraldo Ruiz Caro 612, charged visitors from May to August 2026 S/ 10 for a day pass, the lowest price in Cusco on Daily Sweat. Five reviews agree on the price, and on the gym: three floors and a shake bar, with free weights on record. One May 2026 visitor, who had tried a couple of other gyms first, wrote that it “ticks all the boxes for me.” Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays, 6am–6pm on Saturday and 9am–1pm on Sunday.
2. GymToFitness — S/ 15 at an old-school gym on Avenida Pardo
GymToFitness, at Av. Pardo Paseo de los Héroes 545, charged visitors in September 2025 S/ 15 for a day pass — one noted being “charged 15 soles not 10 like others” and still called it a great vibe. The price is from 2025, but a Daily Sweat user confirmed the day-pass listing in October 2026. It is compact and old-school, with weights, protein shakes and classes, and a June 2026 visitor praised the staff. Hours are 5:30am–10pm on weekdays, 7am–7pm on Saturday and 9:30am–1pm on Sunday.
3. I FITNESS GYM — S/ 15 for modern equipment
I FITNESS GYM, near Av. Mariscal Gamarra, charged a visitor in July 2026 S/ 15 for a day pass and found “Great modern equipment” and wifi. It is the one Cusco listing where card payment is reported, at a price: “If you would like to pay by card you will need to add 1 sol.” Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays and 7am–6pm on Saturday.
4. Alpha Gym — S/ 20 on Retiro, open late on Saturday
Alpha Gym, on Retiro, charged a visitor in August 2026 S/ 20 a day: “Not too big, but has all the equipment I needed. Very cheap (20 sol/day). Good music.” A December 2025 reviewer praised its practical opening hours, and they are among the longest at weekends: 6am–10pm on weekdays, 8am–8pm on Saturday and 8am–2pm on Sunday.
5. VICTORY GYM & FITNESS — S/ 20, with showers and lockers
VICTORY GYM & FITNESS, at Av Tullumayo 849, charges S/ 20 per visit, as several reviews from September 2025 to March 2026 agree. It has two levels of machines and free weights, five treadmills and lockers, and it is the only Cusco listing with showers on record — “clean showers and washrooms”, according to a September 2025 visitor. Another called it the “Best gym I’ve found in Peru, in my month travelling around,” and a February 2026 reviewer said it is “rarely crowded”. Hours are 5:30am–10pm on weekdays, 7am–8pm on Saturday and 8am–1pm on Sunday.
6. HUBERGYM — S/ 20 with classes, or S/ 70 for a week
HUBERGYM, at Av. El Sol 614, publishes its visitor prices: S/ 20 for one day (“Huber Express 1 día”) and S/ 70 for 7 days, both with full use of the gym, dance classes and coaching (price list). It is the most-reviewed listing in the city, at 4.9 stars from 941 Google reviews, and a January 2026 traveller called the “One time entrance fee” affordable; reviewers find the equipment a little old but well kept, and free weights are on record. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays, 6am–5pm on Saturday and 8am–1pm on Sunday. The second branch, HUBERGYM II at Alameda Pachacuteq 499, sells the same S/ 20 day; its hours aren’t on record.
7. INTENSITY GYM Sede Ttio — S/ 20 for the widest choice of machines
INTENSITY GYM Sede Ttio charged a visitor in August 2026 a S/ 20 entrance fee for “a large variety of machines, pretty much everything you might need.” Its listing notes a bigger choice of machines than the group’s Cruz Verde gym, and a September 2025 member praised the condition of the machines and the cleaning. Hours are 6am–10pm on weekdays, 6am–7pm on Saturday and 8am–1pm on Sunday.
8. FORZA CLUB GYM — S/ 25 for Panatta machines underground
FORZA CLUB GYM is Cusco’s top listed price, at S/ 25 for a day pass in May 2026 reviews, with free wifi included and week passes on offer (no price recorded). It is also one of the best-loved: 4.9 stars from 286 Google reviews. Visitors in 2026 describe it as spotless, with “The machines are amazing and all pannata” (July 2026), and an owner who coaches visitors through their sessions. It is in a basement — “take elevator down”, a May 2026 visitor advised. Listed hours are 4pm–10pm on Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 7:45am–2:30pm on Thursday and 9am–3pm on Saturday.
Where to train, by neighbourhood
Cusco’s gyms are close together: every listing is within 1.5 km of the point the city page measures from, and all of them file under Cusco itself. They cluster along a few streets, so pick the one nearest your hotel and use the Cusco gym map for the walk.
- Avenida El Sol, Avenida Pardo and Avenida Tullumayo: HUBERGYM (S/ 20), GymToFitness (S/ 15) and VICTORY GYM & FITNESS (S/ 20) — the cluster for showers, classes and a range of prices.
- Retiro and Avenida Mariscal Gamarra: Alpha Gym (S/ 20), Athena Fitness Club (S/ 50 a week) and I FITNESS GYM (S/ 15). FORZA CLUB GYM (S/ 25) is close by but has no street address on record, so find it from its map pin.
- Cruz Verde and Giraldo Ruiz Caro: Sector 7 Training Center (S/ 10) and INTENSITY GYM & FITNNES on the third floor at Cruz Verde 315 (S/ 20 on 2023–2024 reviews; busy at peak times).
- Alameda Pachacuteq and Ttio: HUBERGYM II (S/ 20), INTENSITY GYM Sede Ttio (S/ 20) and Iron Club Gym (price not recorded; last evidence September 2025).
Daily Sweat records free weights at 4 of the 12 listings — Sector 7, HUBERGYM, VICTORY and Athena — and showers at 1, VICTORY (a blank means unconfirmed, not missing). No listing records a power rack, sauna or pool, and none is open 24 hours: every weekday close is 10pm. Other gyms show on the map as grey pins, with no confirmed pass, among them Peltroche Gym & Fitness on La Cultura, where reviewers say to bring your own towel for the showers, and Apolos gym; ask at the desk.
How much does a gym day pass cost in Cusco?
A gym day pass in Cusco costs S/ 10 to S/ 25, typically S/ 20, as of October 2026. Of the 12 gyms listed, 10 have a known price, and 6 of those charge exactly S/ 20.
- S/ 10: Sector 7 Training Center.
- S/ 15: GymToFitness (2025 price) and I FITNESS GYM.
- S/ 20, the typical price: Alpha Gym, HUBERGYM and HUBERGYM II, both INTENSITY gyms and VICTORY GYM & FITNESS.
- S/ 25: FORZA CLUB GYM.
With no chain selling a pass and no pool or sauna on record, the spread is narrow, and what you pay for is the gym itself: the extra S/ 5 at FORZA buys Panatta machines and an owner on the floor, while at HUBERGYM the same S/ 20 as its neighbours includes classes. Two listings have no day price on record: Athena Fitness Club, where reports range from S/ 15 (2025 reviews) to S/ 30 (January 2026), and Iron Club Gym.
Prices move, and not always evenly: at INTENSITY GYM & FITNNES, 2023 reviews quote both S/ 10 and S/ 20 a day and a 2024 visitor paid S/ 20, while reviewers there and at Athena suspect they paid a tourist price. Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked.
Buying a pass: what to know
Walk in and pay at the desk, in cash
All 12 listed gyms sell the pass at reception; none sells online or through an app, and none offers a free trial. Cash in soles is the safe way to pay: reviewers at Sector 7 found no card machine, in May and July 2026, and I FITNESS GYM adds S/ 1 to pay by card. The other listings don’t say whether they take cards, so carry small notes.
Agree the price first
At independents, the desk sets the price. A 2024 visitor at INTENSITY GYM & FITNNES was charged S/ 20 where another review had said S/ 10 (“Maybe I got the gringo special”), and the January 2026 visitor charged S/ 30 at Athena wondered whether it was “cause I’m a tourist.” Ask before you change, and mention the price you have seen.
Coming from Lima? Smart Fit works differently here
Lima’s Smart Fit branches sell day passes at the desk. In Cusco, Smart Fit Cusco is a grey pin: its site and reviews point to membership only, with no day-pass evidence, so plan on one of the independents above.
What the pass leaves out
No Cusco listing records an indoor-shoe or towel rule. Showers are only confirmed at VICTORY, so most sessions end back at your hotel. Bring your own water: Sector 7 has no refills, and a January 2026 visitor found no free drinking water at Athena. Wifi comes with the pass at Sector 7, I FITNESS GYM and FORZA. Pack training shoes, a towel, a water bottle and a padlock; our carry-on gym packing list covers the rest.
One message settles most of it
Hello, I’m visiting Cusco and would like to train on [date]. What is your current day-pass price, can I pay by card or only in cash, and are you open on Sunday?
¿Tienen pase por día? (“Do you have a day pass?”)
Day pass or weekly pass?
Cusco is a city people stay in for a while, between treks and day trips, so count your likely sessions. Athena Fitness Club is the only listing with a weekly price on the city page, and two more gyms offer longer passes:
- Athena Fitness Club: S/ 50 for a week — “And its only 50 soles for one week,” wrote a November 2025 reviewer who recommends it for a week or two in Cusco. That is S/ 7.14 a day if you train daily, and against a S/ 15 day it pays off from your fourth visit (against S/ 30, from your second). A small free-weights gym at Callejon Retiro 350, open 6am–10pm on weekdays, 6am–6pm on Saturday and 10am–2pm on Sunday.
- HUBERGYM: S/ 20 a day or S/ 70 for 7 days on its own price list — cheaper than paying daily from your fourth session.
- FORZA CLUB GYM: week passes are sold, per a May 2026 review; the price isn’t recorded, so ask.
- A month: a May 2026 reviewer at Sector 7 signed up for a month at S/ 120 — the price of 12 day passes.
Ask whether a package means consecutive calendar days or a fixed number of entries, and when it expires. Our day, weekly and monthly pass guide does the maths.
Training on a Sunday
Sunday is the hard day. Of the 12 listings, 8 list Sunday hours, and every one of them closes by 2pm; I FITNESS GYM and FORZA CLUB GYM are closed, and the hours for HUBERGYM II and INTENSITY GYM & FITNNES aren’t on record. A September 2025 visitor found Iron Club Gym the “Only gym in the area that honored their ‘open on Sundays’ after trying 4 others,” so go early and have a back-up.
- Until 2pm: Alpha Gym (from 8am) and Athena Fitness Club (from 10am).
- Until 1pm: HUBERGYM, VICTORY GYM & FITNESS, INTENSITY GYM Sede Ttio and Iron Club Gym (all from 8am), Sector 7 (from 9am) and GymToFitness (from 9:30am).
Saturdays are easier, with Alpha Gym and VICTORY open until 8pm, but HUBERGYM closes at 5pm and FORZA at 3pm. Caught out? Try a 30-minute hotel gym workout.

Find a Cusco gym that fits your trip
Daily Sweat keeps every Cusco gym with a confirmed day pass on one page, with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities for each. Start with the Cusco gym list to filter by facility, or open the map to see what is near your hotel, then confirm visitor hours and ID rules with the gym before you set off.
Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.
Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.
Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.
The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
