Your Canggu villa has a pool but no gym, and you want a proper session between surfs. Or you’re in Ubud, wondering whether the gym down the road takes walk-ins.
Yes: as of September 2026, a gym day pass in Bali costs 15,000 IDR to 549,000 IDR, typically 150,000 IDR (roughly US$8 at September 2026 exchange rates), going by listings checked in the past year. Daily Sweat lists 69 gyms with a day pass across Bali’s main visitor areas (Canggu, Seminyak and Kuta, Uluwatu, Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua), and 68 of them sell it at the front desk. What most often catches visitors out is the tier: at several gyms the basic day ticket leaves out the sauna, pools or classes, so ask what yours covers.
This guide picks eight of them, from fan-cooled local gyms to recovery clubs with pools. For the full lists, see every gym with a day pass in Canggu, Seminyak and Kuta, Uluwatu, Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua, or browse gyms across Indonesia.
Prices and policies come from Daily Sweat’s listings as of September 2026. Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked — confirm before you travel, especially in peak season.

Match the equipment to your workout

For lifting, Point One Fitness, ULU FIT Bali, Muscle Beach Club, ULU Active and Ubud Fitness Center list a power rack. Flex Gym, Canggu 9YM and Ubud Fitness Center have real air-con; Level Up Gym, Massa’s, Brother GYM and Pucuk Bali Gym have none.
Compare the total cost
Brother GYM adds a one-off 30,000 IDR admin fee on your first visit, TOPGYM Batu Bolong adds 13% tax to its prices, and Canggu 9YM charges 10,000 IDR for a big towel plus a 50,000 IDR locker deposit. If your villa has the basics, weigh up hotel gym vs gym day pass.
Day pass or weekly pass?
A week pass beats day passes from your third to fifth visit, depending on the gym. As of September 2026, 10 of the 69 Bali listings sell one, including:
| Gym | Day pass | Week pass | Week is cheaper from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level Up Gym | 60,000 IDR | 235,000 IDR | 4 visits |
| Flex Gym | 150,000 IDR | 450,000 IDR | 4 visits (3 cost the same) |
| Bull Gym | 250,000 IDR | 750,000 IDR | 4 visits (3 cost the same) |
| Muscle Beach Club | 270,000 IDR | 1,020,000 IDR | 4 visits |
| Ubud.Fitness | 275,000 IDR | 750,000 IDR | 3 visits |
| ULU Active & Recovery | 300,000 IDR | 1,300,000 IDR | 5 visits |
| ELEMNT Gym | 325,000 IDR | 1,300,000 IDR | 5 visits (4 cost the same) |
| Reload Sanctuary Gym | 549,000 IDR | 1,999,000 IDR | 4 visits |
Ubud.Fitness passes run on consecutive days, so a rest day still counts. Level Up also sells 3 days for 150,000 IDR; our day, week or month guide walks through the maths.
Rules that catch visitors out in Bali
Bali’s listings show few formal rules (none of the 69 requires indoor shoes or your own towel, and none is women-only), but the small print trips visitors up:
- Pass tiers. At ULU Active & Recovery, the 300,000 IDR gym day excludes recovery (400,000 IDR a day with it). A July 2026 visitor’s silver day pass at Body Factory Bali excluded the pools, sauna and cold plunge, and Titi Batu Ubud Club’s day pass leaves out group classes.
- One entry, consecutive days. Titi Batu’s pass allows one entry, with no in-and-out, and POWER + REVIVE Studio’s intro 3-day pass must be used on consecutive days.
- Dress and age. Brother GYM requires a T-shirt; Reload is strictly 18+, and Titi Batu’s gym is adults only.
- Heat. Where there’s no air-con, bring a sweat towel; Brother GYM’s reviewers suggest training at 7:00 AM or after 5:00 PM.
- Sundays. Bali Fitness Seminyak, ISBC Uluwatu and Ubud Gym are listed as closed, and Bull Gym and ELEMNT Gym close at 2:00 PM.
What to check before leaving your hotel
Confirm the tier, today’s hours and the extras before you set off:
- Which pass you’re buying, and whether it covers the sauna, pool or classes.
- Today’s hours, especially on a Sunday.
- How recent the price on the gym’s page is.
- A sweat towel, water, a T-shirt and some cash in case the desk doesn’t take cards.
Unsure? Message the gym first:
Hello, I’m staying in [area] and would like to train at your gym on [date]. What is your day-pass price, and does it include the sauna, pool or classes? Are you open that day, and can I pay by card?

Find a Bali gym that fits your trip
Daily Sweat lists Bali’s gyms by area, each with the price, how to buy, opening hours and facilities. Start with the gym list for Canggu, Kuta & Seminyak, Uluwatu, Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua, or open the map to see what is near your villa or hotel, then confirm visitor hours with the gym before you set off.
Search a city and use the map to find convenient options. Where available, listings show day-pass and weekly prices, how to buy access, facilities, opening hours, photos, and visitor notes. You can compare nearby alternatives and use website or map links to plan your visit. Chain pages show every branch of a brand with a confirmed pass, and day pass prices compares typical costs by country and city.
Daily Sweat is free to browse, and you don’t need an account to search. It’s a directory: you buy access through the gym or the booking option described in its listing.
Some details will still need checking, particularly when a price is missing or your visit depends on a specific facility. Traveller contributions and corrections help keep the information useful.
The aim is simple: spend less time figuring out where you can train, and more time enjoying the place you came to visit.
