Prices are set gym by gym and rarely published online, so every price below comes from a dated traveller review from 2024 to 2026; these eight charge 50,000 VND to 320,000 VND, all paid at the front desk. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.

X-Men Gym, on the 4th floor at 91 Phùng Hưng, charged that price for a drop-in session at the front desk in traveller reviews from April to June 2026. Reviewers describe a dated but usable gym with dumbbells up to about 34 kg and fans, and say the air-conditioning is rarely on. Listed hours are 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM every day.

2. Whey Gym — squat racks for about 55,000 VND

They describe older bodybuilding kit in a rough-and-ready room, and advise bringing a lock. Listed hours are 5:30 AM – 10:30 PM from Monday to Saturday.

The listing also records free weights, but reviewers report no towels and no free lockers: your bag stays by reception. Listed hours are 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM on weekdays and shorter at weekends.

4. Peace Gym — 100,000 VND with water and showers

Listed hours are 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM every day. Two March 2026 reviews report multi-visit passes refused or surcharged over Lunar New Year without notice.

8. 7FIT — up to 320,000 VND, with drinks and a towel

7FIT, on the 4th and 5th floors at Đường Thành / 2A Cửa Đông in the Old Quarter, sells its day pass at the front desk, according to traveller reviews from April to August 2026. That is the highest price in Hanoi on Daily Sweat, but it includes water, an electrolyte drink, a protein bar, a post-workout protein shake and a shower towel. Listed hours are 6:00 AM – 10:30 PM every day.

Where to train, by neighbourhood

A cheap pass across town can cost more time than a pricier gym nearby. Here are the 17 listings by area; the Hanoi gym map shows which is closest to your hotel.

• Hoàn Kiếm and the Old Quarter: X-Men Gym, MK Fitness and 7FIT.
• Hồng Hà: Gym Hoàn Kiếm – Whey Gym 2.
• Ba Đình: MVP Fitness, Heros Gym, Bear Fit Gym and Metafit (price not yet confirmed).
• Văn Miếu – Quốc Tử Giám: Tiger Gym, Peace Gym and The Fit Space.
• Hai Bà Trưng: Whey Gym, Home Wellness on Trần Xuân Soạn (listed by its full Vietnamese name), GymHaus Thi Sách and The Barbell Club.
• Đống Đa: ASN Fitness.
• Tây Hồ: First Class Boutique Gym, the only listing with a pool; its price hasn’t been quoted yet.

Of the 17 listings, 12 list free weights, 8 showers, 4 a sauna or steam room, 3 a power rack and 1 a pool. For heavy lifting, Whey Gym, Whey Gym 2 and Metafit list a power rack; reviewers count 7 squat racks at Whey Gym and praise The Barbell Club’s powerlifting kit. A July 2026 review of Tiger Gym highlights brand-new plate-loaded machines; dumbbells reach about 34 kg at X-Men Gym and 40 kg at The Fit Space. For recovery, there’s a sauna or steam room at Whey Gym 2, Heros Gym, MVP Fitness and First Class, which adds a cold plunge. How much does a gym day pass cost in Hanoi?

A gym day pass in Hanoi costs 50,000 VND to 320,000 VND, typically 150,000 VND, as of September 2026. That range covers the 15 of Daily Sweat’s 17 Hanoi listings with a known price:

• 50,000–70,000 VND: Bear Fit Gym and X-Men Gym (50,000 VND), Whey Gym (about 55,000 VND), Whey Gym 2 and Tiger Gym (70,000 VND).
• 100,000 VND: Peace Gym and Home Wellness.
• 150,000–200,000 VND: GymHaus Thi Sách (150,000 VND); ASN Fitness, Heros Gym, MK Fitness, MVP Fitness and The Fit Space (200,000 VND).
• Above 200,000 VND: The Barbell Club (250,000 VND) and 7FIT (up to 320,000 VND).

Paying more mostly buys comfort, not more iron: pricier passes add a towel, a steam room, classes or drinks. Reviews often use shorthand: 50k means 50,000 VND. A few prices come from 2024 or 2025 reviews; each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked — confirm before you travel, especially in peak season.

Buying a pass: what to know

Walk in and pay at the desk — at visitor hours

Every listing sells at the front desk, and none online. Check today’s hours on the gym’s Daily Sweat page: GymHaus Thi Sách lists hours of 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, and an April 2026 visitor was turned away in the evening; at Bear Fit Gym, reviewers say you contact the owner by hotline or Facebook to be let in. On Sundays, Whey Gym and Whey Gym 2 open at 2:30 PM, and ASN Fitness and Metafit are closed. Entrances can be hard to find: X-Men Gym is on the 4th floor and The Barbell Club on the 9th, and at Peace Gym and The Fit Space you walk in through a parking area. Where English is limited (reviewers say staff at Whey Gym 2 speak none), show the gym’s Daily Sweat page at reception.

What the pass leaves out

None of the 17 listings flags an indoor-shoe or towel requirement, and none is women-only, but towels and locks are on you: reviewers say Whey Gym 2 has no towels or free lockers and advise bringing a lock to Whey Gym, while MK Fitness and 7FIT include a towel. Reviews mention fans at X-Men Gym and no air-conditioning at Whey Gym and Peace Gym. None of the 17 listings offers a weekly pass, but The Barbell Club sells a four-time pass for 500,000 VND, 7FIT two days for 600,000 VND, and 2024 reviews of GymHaus Thi Sách mention 5-visit and 10-visit books for 500,000 VND and 800,000 VND.
