Berlin Gym Day Passes: Where to Train, Prices and Tips for Tourists

Bởi Daily Sweat9 phút đọc

You’ve got a free morning before Museum Island, the hotel gym stops at light dumbbells, and every Berlin gym website seems to want a contract. You don’t need one: plenty of the city’s gyms sell a day pass, from €10.

Quick answer

Yes, you can train in Berlin without a membership. As of September 2026, 54 Berlin gyms on Daily Sweat sell a day pass for €10 to €49, typically €10 (roughly US$11 at September 2026 exchange rates), and 50 of them sell it at the front desk. The catch: most FitX clubs are listed as open 24 hours, but FitX sells its day pass only at the counter between 07:00 and 22:00.

Below: eight gyms worth the trip, then which ones are near your hotel, what passes cost, how buying works, and what to do if you’ll train several times. For every listing, see all Berlin gyms with a day pass or the map, or browse gyms across Germany.

Eight Berlin gyms worth the trip

Prices fall into three bands: €10 at the budget chains McFIT (16 gyms on Daily Sweat) and FitX (13), €15 to €24 at EVO Fitness and several independents, and €25 to €49 at full-facility clubs. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.

1. FitX and McFIT — the €10 budget chains

  1. FitX FitnessstudioFitXAlexanderstraße 7, Berlin10.00 EUR day passChecked Jul 2026€10 on the spot at FitX or McFIT, at clubs from Alexanderplatz to the Kurfürstendamm.

FitX and McFIT are the cheapest straightforward workout near most hotels. FitX sells a Tagespass (day pass) at the counter only between 07:00 and 22:00, even though most of its clubs are listed as open 24 hours; McFIT sells a Tageskarte (day ticket) at the studio, and most of its Berlin studios are listed as open 24 hours. Central options include FitX on Alexanderstraße, McFIT Stadtmitte, McFIT Prenzlauer Berg and FitX on the Kurfürstendamm. The listings don’t confirm showers or saunas (FitX official site, McFIT official site).

Before you go: for an early or late FitX session, arrive between 07:00 and 22:00 so you can buy the pass.

2. American Fitness — €15 and a big sauna at Hermannplatz

  1. American FitnessHermannplatz 10, Berlin15.00 EUR day passSaunaChecked Sep 2026€15 at Hermannplatz, with a large sauna area, a steam room and a rooftop.

American Fitness, at Hermannplatz 10 on the Kreuzberg–Neukölln border, sells a €15 day pass at the front desk, according to a June 2026 visitor review. Reviews from 2026 add a women’s sauna, but describe older equipment and limited free weights. It opens 07:00–23:00 on weekdays and 08:00–22:00 at weekends (official site).

Before you go: if heavy free weights matter, check the photos on the gym’s page first.

3. EVO Fitness — €19.90 online, then train at any EVO club

  1. EVO Fitness Berlin AlexanderplatzEVO FitnessRosa-Luxemburg-Straße 14, Berlin19.90 EUR day passFree weightsChecked Sep 2026€19.90 bought online, as a code valid at any EVO club in Germany.

EVO Fitness’s online shop sells the pass as an access code valid at every EVO club in Germany, including its 4 Berlin clubs; a bundle of three costs €44.90, and one listing notes payment by PayPal (official site). Alexanderplatz (Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße 14) has a calisthenics corner and a sled area; Rosenthaler Platz (Torstraße 125) has showers but no sauna; both, and Spittelmarkt (Wallstraße 27), open 06:00–23:00 daily. Frankfurter Tor (Warschauer Straße 8, Friedrichshain) is a new club; check opening hours on the gym’s page.

Before you go: buy the code before you set off. Daily Sweat’s EVO listings don’t show a way to pay at the club.

4. Bunker Berlin — €20 for an old-school strength gym in Friedrichshain

Before you go: confirm the €20 rate at the desk before you get changed; it comes from a review, not a price list.

5. SuperFit Europa-Center — €20 around the clock in City West

  1. SuperFit Europa-CenterSuperFitTauentzienstraße 9-12, Berlin20.00 EUR day passSaunaChecked Sep 2026€20 at a 24-hour gym in City West with a well-reviewed sauna; bring a towel.

SuperFit, in the Europa-Center at Tauentzienstraße 9-12, sells a €20 single-entry pass at the front desk, according to a February 2026 review, and is listed as open 24 hours every day. It’s the one Berlin listing that requires a towel: that reviewer had to buy one, even for calisthenics. Reviewers praise the sauna (March 2026). See the SuperFit chain page and the official site.

Before you go: pack your own towel so you don’t have to buy one at the desk.

6. Holmes Place — pool, sauna and spa for €25

  1. JOHN REED Fitness Berlin BötzowJOHN REEDSaarbrücker Str. 4, Berlin30.00 EUR day passSaunaPoolChecked Sep 2026€30 for two floors of weights, a lap pool, hot tubs and saunas in Prenzlauer Berg.

JOHN REED Bötzow, on Saarbrücker Straße, charged a November 2025 reviewer €30 at the front desk. Reviewers describe an underground club whose dumbbells stop at 40 kg (July 2026). It opens 06:00–23:00 on weekdays and 08:00–22:00 at weekends (official site). Daily Sweat lists 8 JOHN REED clubs in Berlin with day passes, but only Bötzow’s price is captured; at the Charlottenburg club, a May 2026 reviewer who booked a “trial training” online was charged €20 at the desk.

Before you go: ask the day-pass price before you pay, especially at other JOHN REED clubs.

8. Aspria Ku’damm — €49, the top of the range in Halensee

  1. Aspria Berlin Ku’dammAspriaKarlsruher Str. 20, Berlin49.00 EUR day passSaunaPoolChecked Sep 2026€49, Berlin’s top listed price, for a long club day with a pool and sauna.

Aspria Ku’damm, at Karlsruher Straße 20, has the highest price on Daily Sweat’s Berlin list, going by a May 2026 review that mentions day-pass clients paying €49 at the front desk; a May 2026 member review criticises the pool arrangements and the showers. It opens 06:00–23:00 on weekdays and 08:00–22:00 at weekends. See the Aspria chain page and the official site.

Before you go: confirm the day rate at reception; the €49 figure comes from a review, not a price list.

Where to train, by neighbourhood

Pick by neighbourhood first, then by equipment and total cost — pass price, return transport and anything you must buy on the day, such as a towel. The Berlin gym map shows which day-pass gyms are near where you’re staying.

  • Mitte: FitX on Alexanderstraße and McFIT Stadtmitte (€10), three EVO clubs (€19.90), Holmes Place Gendarmenmarkt (€25).
  • Potsdamer Platz: AllStar Gym on Leipziger Platz (€24), Holmes Place Potsdamer Platz (€44).
  • Prenzlauer Berg: McFIT on Greifswalder Straße (€10), JOHN REED Bötzow (€30).
  • Friedrichshain: FitX on Tamara-Danz-Straße (€10), EVO Frankfurter Tor (€19.90), Bunker Berlin (€20).
  • Kreuzberg and Neukölln: American Fitness at Hermannplatz (€15), Holmes Place Neue Welt (€25).
  • Charlottenburg and City West: McFIT on Tauentzienstraße and FitX on the Kurfürstendamm (€10), SuperFit Europa-Center (€20), Aspria Ku’damm (€49).

Of the 54 listings, 14 confirm a sauna, 8 a pool, 6 free weights and 6 showers as of September 2026; most of the rest aren’t confirmed yet, so check each gym’s page. For heavy lifting, Bunker Berlin is the strength specialist with a known price. Only one listing confirms a power rack: Berlin Strength on Revaler Straße, where reviewers mention flexible day passes; its price wasn’t captured, so ask at the desk. How much does a gym day pass cost in Berlin?

A gym day pass in Berlin costs €10 to €49, typically €10, as of September 2026. Of the 54 Berlin gyms on Daily Sweat that sell one, 42 show a price.

  • Budget chains (€10): FitX (13 gyms) and McFIT (16) sell a basic session, and there are enough of them to make €10 the typical price.
  • Mid-range (€15–€24): American Fitness (€15), EVO Fitness (€19.90), Bunker Berlin and SuperFit (€20) and AllStar Gym (€24) add a sauna, a specialist floor or the option to buy ahead.

Buying a pass: what to know

Buy at the counter — in counter hours

50 of the 54 listings sell the pass at the desk, and none is marked cash-only as of September 2026. The catch is when: FitX’s 13 Berlin gyms sell it only at the counter, 07:00–22:00, even where the club is listed as open 24 hours. EVO’s 4 Berlin clubs are the exception the other way, selling the pass only as an online access code.

A free trial is not a visitor pass

McFIT’s listings mention one free Probetraining (trial session) per calendar year — a one-off trial, not a pass — and a trial session booked online at JOHN REED Charlottenburg cost a May 2026 reviewer €20. Make sure you’re buying a day pass, not booking a trial.

What the pass leaves out

Ask whether the pool, sauna and classes are included. SuperFit Europa-Center is the one listing that requires a towel, so pack one. One of the 54 is women-only, JOHN REED’s Women’s Club on Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauer Berg; its price wasn’t captured. And at Holmes Place by Ostkreuz, a November 2025 day-pass visitor found half the smart machines need a member card. For what to bring, see our carry-on gym packing list.

One message settles most of it

Hello, I’m visiting Berlin and would like to train on [date]. Do you sell a day pass to non-members, how much is it, and can I buy it at the desk? Are showers, lockers and towels included?
Gibt es eine Tageskarte? (“Is there a day ticket?”)

Day pass or weekly pass?

None of the 54 listings shows a weekly pass as of September 2026. For several sessions, EVO’s bundle of three day passes at €44.90 is the closest thing, valid at every EVO club in Germany; compare day passes, weekly passes and memberships.
