Bali Gym Day Passes: Where to Train, Prices and Tips for Tourists

Yazan: Daily Sweat9 dk okuma

Your Canggu villa has a pool but no gym, and you want a proper session between surfs. Or you’re in Ubud, wondering whether the gym down the road takes walk-ins.

Quick answer

Yes: as of September 2026, a gym day pass in Bali costs 15,000 IDR to 549,000 IDR, typically 150,000 IDR (roughly US$8 at September 2026 exchange rates), going by listings checked in the past year. Daily Sweat lists 69 gyms with a day pass across Bali’s main visitor areas (Canggu, Seminyak and Kuta, Uluwatu, Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua), and 68 of them sell it at the front desk. What most often catches visitors out is the tier: at several gyms the basic day ticket leaves out the sauna, pools or classes, so ask what yours covers.

Below: seven picks worth the trip, then which ones are near your villa, what passes cost, how buying works, and when a weekly pass beats paying by the day. For every listing, see all gyms with a day pass in Canggu, Seminyak and Kuta, Uluwatu, Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua, or browse gyms across Indonesia.

Seven Bali gyms worth the trip

From fan-cooled local gyms at 50,000 IDR to recovery clubs with pools at 549,000 IDR, across all six areas. Each gym’s card shows the listing’s current price and when it was last checked.

Where to train, by area

Bali’s areas are far apart, so start with where you’re staying. Open the Canggu gym map or the Uluwatu gym map to see what’s closest, or start here:

Of the 69 listings, 13 record free weights and 7 a power rack; 25 list a sauna, 14 showers and 12 a pool. For lifting, Point One Fitness, ULU FIT Bali, Muscle Beach Club, ULU Active and Ubud Fitness Center list a power rack. Flex Gym, Canggu 9YM and Ubud Fitness Center have real air-con; Level Up Gym, Massa’s, Brother GYM and Pucuk Bali Gym have none. If your villa has the basics, weigh up hotel gym vs gym day pass; for the general method, see how to find a gym day pass while travelling.

How much does a gym day pass cost in Bali?

A gym day pass in Bali costs 15,000 IDR to 549,000 IDR, typically 150,000 IDR, as of September 2026. That covers the 34 listings with a price checked in the past year; older listings flagged as possibly outdated go as low as 10,000 IDR. What drives the difference:

  • Local gyms, up to 100,000 IDR. NS GYM near Jimbaran charged 15,000 IDR in a November 2025 review that calls it very basic; Canggu’s cheapest is Level Up Gym at 60,000 IDR.
  • Air-con and recovery, from 150,000 IDR. Flex Gym (150,000 IDR) has strong air-con and an ice bath; Canggu 9YM’s pass, from 165,000 IDR, bundles a sauna, cold plunge and a Muay Thai class.
  • Classes and recovery clubs, from 239,000 IDR. Found Wellness Center in Seminyak starts at 239,000 IDR, and Avenue Fitness charges 250,000 IDR for gym and recovery or 300,000 IDR for everything.
  • Chains. Fitness Plus charged 200,000 IDR in Sanur and 300,000 IDR in Canggu in 2026 reviews.

Reviews often use shorthand: 50k means 50,000 IDR. Each gym’s page shows where its price came from and when it was last checked — confirm before you travel, especially in peak season.

Buying a pass: what to know

Walk in and pay at the desk

68 of the 69 listings sell the pass at the front desk; Muscle Beach Club and Reload Sanctuary Gym also sell online. Carry some cash in case the desk doesn’t take cards, and check today’s hours on a Sunday: Bali Fitness Seminyak, ISBC Uluwatu and Ubud Gym are listed as closed, and Bull Gym and ELEMNT Gym close at 2:00 PM.

Know which tier you’re buying

At ULU Active & Recovery, the 300,000 IDR gym day excludes recovery (400,000 IDR a day with it). A July 2026 visitor’s silver day pass at Body Factory Bali excluded the pools, sauna and cold plunge, and Titi Batu Ubud Club’s day pass leaves out group classes and allows one entry, with no in-and-out. POWER + REVIVE Studio’s intro 3-day pass must be used on consecutive days.

What the pass leaves out

None of the 69 listings requires indoor shoes or your own towel, and none is women-only, but extras add up: Brother GYM adds a one-off 30,000 IDR admin fee on your first visit, TOPGYM Batu Bolong adds 13% tax to its prices, and Canggu 9YM charges 10,000 IDR for a big towel plus a 50,000 IDR locker deposit. Brother GYM requires a T-shirt; Reload is strictly 18+, and Titi Batu’s gym is adults only. Where there’s no air-con, bring a sweat towel — Brother GYM’s reviewers suggest training at 7:00 AM or after 5:00 PM. Pack water too; our carry-on gym packing list covers towels and sweaty clothes.

One message settles most of it

Hello, I’m staying in [area] and would like to train at your gym on [date]. What is your day-pass price, and does it include the sauna, pool or classes? Are you open that day, and can I pay by card?

Day pass or weekly pass?

A week pass beats day passes from your third to fifth visit, depending on the gym. As of September 2026, 10 of the 69 Bali listings sell one, including:

GymDay passWeek passWeek is cheaper from
Level Up Gym60,000 IDR235,000 IDR4 visits
